Location to the event I was attending. Parking. There was no convenient place to self park, I think valet parking should have been on the house, since parking was scarce.

The Americus Allentown is a beautiful and historic hotel. Parking is avaliable on the property but also easily found in several garages just a block away. We loved that the hotel kept a lot of historical features that my children found fascinating. Even though the hotel is in the city of Allentown, the rooms were quiet and there wasn't any street noise. All of the staff was friendly. I asked for dining options around the area and followed the staff's advice for a great family dining experience just a very short walk from the property. At check-in and check-out, the front desk staff was so friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be returning with our family.

I attended a 3 day church conference. I really enjoyed my stay there at that time. The staff was very accommodating professional & friendly. So I decided to book another stay there again for our 3 day church convention. This Hotel is well managed, I love the room size, it was cleaned & stocked well. I love the nostalgic interior, the bedroom furniture is perfect. The hotel location is ideal , it's right in the heart of downtown Allentown.

Staff was very kind and courteous. The location of my room, during the night hours it was very noisy. I found it very hard to sleep.

The architecture designs of the building and how well it is kept cleaned and organized for it being a vintage building There were parts of the room that were not clean like I found a pair of dirty socks from a previous customer that stayed in our room before us. The room temperature couldn’t be changed and it made the room warmer than we would like.
