Comfort Inn Altoona-Des Moines

The usual standard motel breakfast. The coffee was in an area separate from the food.

Clean room, friendly staff, a good budget stay.

staff nice, room large and laid out nice mattresses were not good for back

Clean room breakfast was ok

As we travel across the US we book our rooms as we get close to a area we want to stay for the night. On Aug 31 I had accidentally booked 2 rooms for the same night and this hotel WOULD NOT GIVE US A REFUND... knowing we needed a room for that night 😡 Expedia tried to reach out to them and see about a refund but the hotel said NO... so we will not be staying at this place ever again and I know it was my fault but we were willing to pay regular price for one night and have them refund us for the wrong date 😡

Passable

Clean room front desk was very kind and helpful. Great location to the event we were attending

Breakfast was good

Very good

The location is right off the interstate and near Adventureland. Restaurants and gas stations nearby make it a convenient location. I couldn’t find anything i didn’t like about the property other than the pice i paid to stay there. This was not, in my opinion, a room worthy of the price we paid to stay there

Over priced

Great hotel. Helpful staff and clean rooms.

Exceptional

Yes

We found little ants and or bugs in both our Queen beds, and then on our clothes.

good location for what we were doing and very helpful staff. Room was quite and clean. sleep very well.

Very clean nice staff

We enjoyed the stay, recommend!

Clean room and plenty of space. Staff kept up on giving us clean towels nd emptying out trash. Air conditioner was in good working order. Breakfast was filling nd tasty. Only thing id say would of been nice a bigger pool.
