Motel 6 Amarillo, TX

Was at a gaming convention most of the time, but was a decent place to sleep.

Price was great. Room was clean, staff was very helpful. Bed was a bit firm for me but I would definitely stay here again

There was empty bottles in fridge and under the beds. Maybe forgot to clean? Anyhoo I brought my own towels and soap and Dawn clean spray so swiped down quick. They might think about remodel if motel6 gives them some money. The bathroom was old looking but worked and it’s pretty cheap here so I am not one to complain. The staff and guests all seemed super nice.

Meredith checked us in and could not have been kinder or more welcoming. The room was clean and spacious with two beds. It seemed far more then basic accommodations that motel 6 is known for. It was clean and comfortable and there were candy snacks and drinks available at the check-in station. No exterior perimeter access which is very important with a pet or rather, my pet. Being excitable and strong, a quick entry from the car to the room is essential. also a lot of loitering by the entry door with smokers and passers by that were a little creepy. A smoke alarm needing a new battery beeped all night. the bathtub had no drain plug or open and close lever. I stuffed a washcloth in the drain so I could use the bathtub. It worked!

Smelled the mattress was literally HARD AS A ROCK!

The motel hall floor carpet is old, dirty and smells and room bathtub was dirty.

Very clean It was very quiet

Cheap enough and sheets and surfaces were clean. Required to sign an agreement that I wouldn’t change mind after going into room. What a joke. Could tell why after going into room. It’s clear the owners don’t care about the property. At least cleaning staff do the best they can with what they have.

I usually stay here when I go to Tennessee it's my halfway point. This motel is always clean the staff is always helpful, polite and very courteous. I've never had a bad stay at this motel. As a motorcycle rider they always let me keep it under the awning and keep a eye on the bike. Love staying here.

I had to pay a $50 deposit. They said I would receive it back once they inspected the room after the stay. It was perfectly fine when I left and I only received $40 back. Where is the other $10?? If they do this to every customer then they are making additional money then what is quoted originally. This is so unprofessional. I will not stay here again and get robbed of my hard earned money.

Staff was phenomenal. Friendly and extremely helpful. Everyone was smiling and made us feel like we were their #1 priority. Rooms were clean and comfy. Good value. We would definitely go back again if in the area.
