My Place Hotel - Anchorage, AK

Bathroom ceiling had large drywall seam cracked open and paint peeling. Lounge area near check in desk has been under construction for many months and is still unusable.

I loved the recliner. I loved the kitchen. The pillows are horrible. I would have stayed another night but for the pillows

Clean and centrally located. We enjoyed our stay. We will certainly go back when we need a place to stay in Anchorage.

Didn’t realize it was an extended stay so no dishes glasses or silverware and no daily maid service

Shuttle was great. Room a bit noisy. No utensils in the little kitchen provided in the room

We have stayed in many hotels over the years. My Hotel was definitely the cleanest that my wife and I have ever stayed at. Staff were very accommodating and the nightly rates were great for Alaska! If we ever go back to Anchorage, we will stay at this hotel. Also, the view from our window was great. Mountains and wildlife (black and brown rabbits) were everywhere. Beautiful!

Nice updated hotel

Worst experience we have ever had at a hotel. In the in the corridor leading to our room, there was this bad smell. We opened the door and couldnt stay in for a minute - strong stinch of mold or something was all over the room. We immediately went back to reception ( somehow the guy didn't seem surprised). He said there are no other rooms available. He refused to refund what we just paid. Luckily we were able to find another hotel. But out money was never refunded and the hotel kept avoiding any approach.I reluctantly leave the rest of it out of the review so it could be posted, just a warm recommendation - avoid this hotel!
