Best Western Premier Des Moines-Ankeny Hotel

The room was clean, staff was friendly, and they had many options for breakfast. This hotel was close to shopping, restaurants, and a quick drive to Ames or Des Moines. We will stay here again!

It was convenient to where we had to be We heard a motor running all night long that never stopped which kept us awake. Also, there were lights flashing very brightly in the room all night which also kept us awake. I reserved a room with a king size bed but instead got one with 2 queens and both of the couples that reserved rooms after me, got the king size beds.

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed at in years, and I travel A LOT. Large parking lot. Airy and attractive building. Excellent check-in, fast and efficient. Quiet elevator. Large clean room with everything that works. The area was quiet, in spite of being by the freeway; didn’t hear road noise at all. Well-done breakfast setup and plenty of table seating. Another nice room in lobby to sit in. I wish every hotel I have to use was as nice as this one. 10/10. Would absolutely book there again!

The parking lot had quite a few weeds in every crack so aesthetically it was disappointing. The curtains and sheers we very difficult to open and close, maintenance needs to fit them. The sink drain would not stay closed so you could not fill the sink with water for shaving so I waisted water letting it run. The shower makes up for it though as it is really restrictive but I assume that is a requirement as it is in many places.

Always a great stay! I was hesitant due to it being a best western, but this is way better than your average Best Western!

We always enjoy our stay at this hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful yet very much in the background. My room was getting cleaned, yet I never once saw a housekeeping crew! They have a very nice breakfast and its included in your stay. The rooms are nice, clean and very comfortable.

This was a very nice place to stay. Spent 3 nights here and it was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection and the pond outside was beautiful.

The hotel was clean and staff were great! The area around the hotel was nice and it was located close to major highways. My only complaint was the WiFi on the TV and ice machines were not up to working.

Nice, clean hotel in a quiet location. Plenty of parking. I have long hair, so it’s sometimes difficult to wash in hotels. This hotel had a great showerhead with excellent pressure!

WiFi was inconsistent. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable and loud. Breakfast was just okay. The workers were kind and helpful. Overall not a great experience.

I like that the property was clean and relatively stylish decor. That said, a huge percentage of peopel enjoy a morning coffee with breakfast. A huge percentage of them liek half & half in their coffee, yet there was none. The only thing that was avaiable was sweetened creamer and I do not like sweet coffee. No huge deal, but for your guests.....please just figure a way to make some half & half available.

Nice rooms, comfy beds, clean, friendly staff.. however, I found not one but two little roaches in the bathroom. Also the TV didn’t work well-it had just a few channels that continuously lost connection. Netflix didn’t work either, and when trying to cast my phone to the TV, I found every room but the one I needed to cast to. Front desk wasn’t sure how to fix the TV issues and staying there for five days with children, this was an big inconvenience.
