The first room I was given was awful. It took a lot of discussion, a lot of waiting around and a lot of distress till I was allocated another room. This room was clean, comfortable and very pleasant. The upset at the beginning and having to advocate for a decent room. The hotel was clearly understaffed so there was a lot of pressure on them

Location And its age

One person in my group even found cigarette ashes on her comforter. I rented three rooms, and each one had an issue. I would not recommend this hotel.

The staff including the valet were very welcoming. The place has charm and history. The rooms are comfortable as are the beds. Our view was very pleasant—giving our onto a small courtyard. The bathroom had nice amenities. The location could not be beat! The whole place could use more light. It is a bit dark including in the room. There was a spot on our carpet and we found someone’s cell phone lying on floor so wondered how carefully the room has been cleaned. The coffee was not great quality. The elevators seem a bit dated.

Great location and nice/clean rooms.

You will have to use a garage or pay hotel $50.00 per night

The room itself was fine - my only grumble was the TV was disappointing. Well the picture quality would've been bad in the 90s! The room would benefit from a safe. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Overall I did expect more.

Nice room, clean andquiet. Great location. Said there was a $50 top limit on valet parking but it ended up close to 60 for one night.
-
Pretty outdated for the price. Shower was terribly small and basic . Walls super thin. Could hear a phone conversation word for word in the room next to ours .

Clean. Staff helpful. Conveniently located.
-
The Maryland Inn is right on Main Street giving a short walk to every store and restaurant.
-
Loved the history of the inn. Had to park in a parking deck 3 blocks away while walking in heavy rain (not fun). Had no place to pull up to the inn to load car. All parking spots were taken. Drove around block 6 times to get an open parking spot. Won't be back, to much of a hassle.
