Wyndham Garden Hotel Austin

It was raining and there were leaks on the fifth floor and the bottom floors. Staff was nice, the room was clean but all the leaks and they had a bunch of bins and trash cans for the leaks. Place needs some work for sure. Also the elevator was dripping from the rain.

Frankly, the "easychair" is NOT inviting and there is only 1 other chair in the place. One more thing... the marquee by the road has 80%+ of the light out...hard to see at night. DO you think I care to return? I think not. Staff was reasonably friendly, but no effort was made to make up for the fact the shower was cold and everything else was messed up. How disappointing. LIkely never again. I paid too much for there to be that much wrong.

The room is very comfortable and spacious, with plenty of space to put your luggage. The shower and A/C work perfectly. The staff is very helpful, and they even let us have a late check-out. Lots of free parking available, and by car or Uber it's just a short ride to the airport or to Downtown Austin. The bar at the lobby was closed most of the time.

Good location. And nice room.

When the air conditioner in the room ran it was unbelievably loud. It went off in the middle of the night, and made the room hot. The hallway looked like it had pieces of plaster all over the carpet. And there were several areas in the hotel that were outdated and neglected. While it was convenient to my conference, I wouldn't choose to stay there again.

Very pleasant & breakfast was...

We woke up to a damn full on water leak in our bathroom. It was ongoing for over 2 hours. Got everything in the restroom soaked.

I stayed for one week. The pool and gym was well maintained and the bar lounge was cozy. However I did not eat in the restaurant or have any of the food so I can’t comment on that.

European roaches in room, breakfast Not included for almost $--- a night

The hallways and the room had a funky smell. The toilet didn’t flush well. There was paint from recent touch up splattered everywhere. However, the location was convenient. The pool was relaxing.

What I didn’t like is that the carpet in hall was nasty super dirty, phone in bedroom didn’t work, ac extremely loud and when my husband went to the front desk to ask for an additional towel they sent him floor to floor looking for a cleaning lady and even then they told him that they didn’t have any so they had to go to the laundry room and never offer to take it to our room.

Nothing at all!! Neighbors doing drugs and fighting all hours of the day. Dirty rooms, bugs, smoke smell in room, exposed wiring, hotel had NO towels, all the employees are drug addicts as well. The air conditioning didn't work correctly. Very unsafe for kids. Employees wouldn't let us speak with a manager. By far the worst hotel stay we have ever had.

Everything It was just the shower handle was broke but other than that that's it

Ned’s are not queen beds , they are full . Very small not to mention mattresses are hard and squeak. Also bathroom had hair in the tub and sink, it clearly has not been cleaned. Bathroom vent is filthy and very poor lighting.
