Homewood Suites by Hilton Baton Rouge

Staff was extremely helpful. Responded immediately to any questions we had. Room was clean. One of our rooms did have a very musty smell though. Very spacious suites. We enjoyed our stay.

Hotel is in need of an upgrade. Bed was comfortable.

Carpet was torn, there were holes in the sofa fabric, water damage on bathroom door

Homewood suite location was extremely good staff was nice Room size was amazing bath tub needed a good deep cleaning furniture & mattresses needs replacement bad I have a few pics to support my statement so if they get better mattresses & sofa that would make a difference The mattresses & sofa worn-out bath tub had what looks like bad permanently rings around the tub or in bad need of a really good cleaning I had to pad the bed with pillows the get rest

I never got to stay at Homewood because I booked the wrong date and they wouldn’t change the date for me. I lost $149 because they don’t have compassion

The hotel room was disgusting. Upon entering the suite, I immediately tried to phone down regarding the condition of the room, BUT THE PHONE WAS ALSO BROKEN. The suite SMELLED LIKE URINE. There was a huge wet area of carpet on the hall -ANIMAL URINE. The hint bedding was covered in hair. I went down to down to front desk. They were no help and had no rooms to switch us. I was on the phone with hotels.."com for nearly an hour-NO RESOLUTION. I was in town for MY GRADUATION THE FOLLOWING MORNING. The WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER!

The good: The front desk lady was very professional and pleasant. The central location was wonderful. The shower was super hot! That's a deal breaker for me. The little sitting area and the kitchenette was wonderful. The ice machine in the fridge worked amazing. The bathroom and bedroom were well stocked and very comfortable. The herbaceous shampoos and body wash were refreshing and convenient. I had more than enough towels and cloths for my stay and there were more than enough pillows. The not so good: I had two TVs. None were smart. It's 2026. I have traveled to 3rd world countries that all had smart TVs and I could watch my Netflix. I can officially say that I caught up on reruns of dateline and forensic files and I remember how annoying commercials are and if I missed something...well...too bad, can't rewind! It was something that will make me choose another hotel next time. Breakfast ended at 9am which is wayyy to early on vacation for me to get up for. The pull out couch was broken but luckily that wasn't truly something we needed so we just lay on the couch. The ugly: My children's room had a huge roach. Seems to be something that comes up often in reviews now that I am really looking at some other reviews.

The hotel is run down and the rooms are dirty. The staff is great! The hotel chain needs to remodel.

Clean and polite stay. Breakfast was a bit simple but at least it was good. Would stay again.

My rating has everything to do with the run down condition of the hotel! The location and staff are amazing! The breakfast is pretty good too. But the hotel is dirty! The hallway and the rooms. Everything needs to be renovated! Its old and makes you feel like you can’t touch anything in the room.
