I was on a road trip and had booked a number of hotels with Expedia for 2 weeks prior. On 17 September at approx 4:30 pm I drove into the hotel parking lot. Using the Expedia app I book this hotel for one night. In my haste of arriving after a lengthy drive and hungry, I mistakenly booked the hotel for Thursday the 24th and not the 17th. (I looked at the app later and saw it defaulted to one week in the future. In fact the date dialogue box showed the 17th, which I likely focused on, with a small blue circle and the 24th and 25th with larger blue circles.) After I booked, assuming it was for the 17th to 18th I went for dinner next door at Jersey’s Bar and Grill (great place). At approx 6:15 pm after dinner I went to the hotel to check in and learned of my mistake. The hotel could not help me due to a third party booking. I contacted Expedia via a Virtual Agent and learned that I could not amend the dates due the fact that I did not add $8 onto the booking in order for it to be cancelled. The Agent would/could not amend the dates. I was flabbergasted. 1 1/12 hour after the booking and Expedia could not help me. I know there are policies but sometimes people deserve some leniency especially after I used Expedia for a number of bookings previously. Not happy with Expedia and did not use them for the remaining 2 days of my trip.

While i have no particular irritation with the front desk people, I found some of the policies of the hotel to be below what I expected from a Hampton and also i found some of the management personnel to be incredibly irritating. While I plan on being back again in this area, this particular Hampton has lost my business.

We had a great stay, the room and over all the hotel was clean and well manage. Always some willing to help or guide you. Staff were nice and friendly with our kids. The pool was great, water was clean and area was clean too. Breakfast was as expected, according to my husband eggs omelette need some work but he is a picky eater.
