The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. The hotel was unusually full, but very quiet. Breakfast is always good here and the coffee is excellent. (Vermont seems to be obsessed with coffee....) Having tried two or three other hotels in Brattleboro, we have settled on the Hampton Inn as our "go to" spot.

Front desk staff was very friendly on arrival. The beds were unbelievably comfortable! I had just been in several different hotels and Air BnBs overseas, all uncomfortable- so I was more than pleasantly surprised at how well I slept both nights. I also appreciated how clean the hotel was in general and my room, in particular. As someone with multiple food sensitivities, not being able to eat breakfast is the only thing I didn't like but this is often my answer with hotels!

There was a mistake in my reservation and housekeeping cleaned the room because my check out was a day early. All of my food for lunch and dinner was thrown out and the front iffice staff would not help me at all. She refused to do basic things like put me in touch with the front office managwr who was on duty during the room clean out. She also refused to contact the cleaning staff to find out what happened. When I asked her to help she told me to leave and tried to kick me out of the hotel. She was unhelpful, unsympathetic and nasty. She was awful
