Great experience

It’s a great resort for families with kids. It has a kitchen and excellent pool facilities.
-
The unit could use more kitchen amenities. Other than that, no complaints.
-
Beautiful sanctuary with amazing amenities!
-
its a great location with great amenities... kinda aged a bit and needing some updates, but you cant beat the location !
-
Beautiful location. The property was quite large - the shuttle was useful to get around. Not used to having no security at the entrance of the Villages - no key card security to get into the individual villages.

Will definitely return :)

The main building is really beautiful and the views from its terrace are spectacular. The swimming pools and tennis courts are nice. Everything is well cared for and clean (bathroom, kitchen). The bed is really comfortable. The staff is super friendly. Our room in Arbor Village was clean, but had a persistent mold smell throughout our stay. The bigger issue was being constantly displaced due to events. First day, at the pool (fitness center), staff politely asked us to leave within half an hour because of a private class. At the beach, a reception took over and guests became kind of secondary. The next day, the same thing happened at another pool (outdoor near the tennis courts). The mansion was also packed with wedding guests. I understand that events are important for the business, but there was no warning when I booked about how much of the facilities would be unavailable or disrupted during our stay. Finally, for a hotel of this size and price point, the lack of a playground or activities for children, at least during the weekend we were there, was really surprising.

An amazing property

The place is very nice and HUGE. The convenience of jumping on the Cape Cod Rail trail from the property was awesome. We played a round of golf also and the course was in great shape! Definitely recommended!

Very disappointed in such a high level and beautiful resorts non activity to rectify the mold and accumulated dust. Maybe the staff will didn’t take my concerns seriously. I’ll never know because I’ll never return.

We stayed for 3 nights in early July in a one-bedroom villa. Unfortunately, there were two significant issues that really affected our stay. The most disappointing was the daily beach access charge. We only discovered afterwards that we had been charged a beach fee for every day of our stay. This charge was not communicated at all on Booking.com when we made the reservation, nor by the front office. Even more frustratingly, we did not use any beach facilities — no towels, sunbeds or chairs. We simply used the stairs to go down to the public beach for a short walk. Being charged a daily fee for the duration of our stay, when we did not use any facilities, and when the charge was not disclosed at all at the time of booking, is completely unacceptable. The other major issue was the sofa bed. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable and not suitable even for a child. We had to ask housekeeping for two mattress toppers to make it barely comfortable enough to sleep on. The housekeeping team seemed very familiar with this request, suggesting this is an ongoing issue that the resort should address.

We stayed at Britterige, which is one of the more renovated areas of the villages. While others in our family who stayed in other areas in the villages had carpeted villas, we had a nice looking imitation wood floor. It was spacious. The bedroom was a nice size and pretty, but there was no mirror! Why no mirror on the back of the door? There was a full length mirror near the front door and a pretty small vanity mirror in the bathroom, but we had 3 people who had to get ready for a party and it was hard with no mirror in the bedroom. Also, the outlets were on the opposite wall from the full length mirror that was near the front door, so that made using the mirror more difficult. We had 2 queen pullout couches that were nice looking when we weren’t using them as beds. They looked pretty new, but the springs were noisy and not very comfy. We tried one pullout the first night and we could feel the springs in our backs and some were creeking, so we tried the other pullout our 2nd night and it wasn’t much better (and we are thin people!). The white fridge was a bit worn on the outside as was the white dishwasher, but the fridge was very clean inside. We didn’t open the dishwasher. The microwave was very clean. The bathroom should have been nicer. The vanity was old with paint worn off around the crooked knobs and there was not a lot of counter space (again, a problem since there was no mirror in the bedroom!). The toilet and shower looked newer than the vanity
