Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Minneapolis Burnsville

I would have to say that I would never choose to stay at this hotel again, although the location in Burnsville is good as was the gentleman working the front desk. The hotel is old and not cleaned all that well. All corners in the bathroom looked like they had not been cleaned in a while and there was a dental pick laying on the floor right by the bed. It wasn't overly noisy during the night, but I did awaken to walking above me and noisy conversations coming from somewhere. In the morning we went down for breakfast, which was not very good. The omelets had a layer of what appeared to be Velveeta in the center, but they were not warm and were quite unappetizing. I went for the known foods, being yogurt and toast with peanut butter. It may have had a great pool, but I don't generally use a pool in a hotel.

Bathroom only has one sink. Shower was awful - low spotty pressure and hard to wash your hair or shave your legs. Towels are thin and smelled weird, also too starched. They did let us check in early which was super nice of them. Kids enjoyed the pool. Air constantly felt damp and the room smelled pretty bad the whole time - likely dirty carpet. Housekeeping was not reliable and we had to repeatedly ask for new towels because they didn’t refresh them.

Would book here again.

The bathroom was not very clean.

After speaking with management the next morning, It was explained to me that it was presented the wrong way and that staff went to 2 other rooms as well. Still should make sure you are approaching the correct room and not assume anything. Other than those 2 issues, Everything else was good!

Great location, better than the Hampton Inn

Convenient access to my family. Have been staying here a couple of times a year and consistently has what I need. And breakfast was good, hot breakfast always appreciated . And the coffee was actually really good. Additional parking would be helpful.

The fridge was broke so I had to put my food in the ice bucket. Fan on air-conditioniner would not go above low, remote for tv rarely worked

Our room had a parking lot light shing directly into our room. There were no black out curtains.

Exceptional

The window does not have a shade therefore, light comes into the room once dat breaks. The absence of shade makes it impossible to darken your room so u enjoy your sleep
