Motel 6 Carson, CA

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly.

Honestly, my new go-to every time I have to come to LA. It's a very convenient location (near the airport, just off the 405 without all the traffic noise) The area has plenty of places to shop and eat. But most of all: The staff. Jay at the front desk was very helpful and a big shout-out to Mac (Mack?) the general manager. He's always around being helpful and friendly and has no problem with going above and beyond to help out when he can. Honestly, a very classy customer service experience missing everywhere else nowadays. The rooms are comfortable, the price is solid (for LA especially) and there is plenty of parking. Don't think this is a normal "Motel 6" experience. I'll be back each and every time I have to go to LA.

Nothing POOR service rooms are small refrigerators barely work and no freezer in them house keeping on floors all day and when you go to desk aspect to not be helped at ALLL they don’t understand and won’t help you with an issue will say talk to management and never get back to you TERRIBLE service management here is really bad you can never talk to anyone and will never get a real resolution rooms small and refrigerator barley works a lot of internal traffic in the facility as well no peace did not like it here save your MONEY

Room smelled like smoke really strong I hade to be in that room for a night with 3 kids very upsetting and frustrating plus paid almost 400$ drove 7 hours and left very unsatisfied

The Staff is amazing like always, rooms are super clean

Clean, spacious room. Nice shower. WiFi was not good ... barely usable.

The front desk staff are fine. However, there is one female cleaning staff that did not want to replace them

Noise coming out from Air conditioning. Washroom door was not closing properly.

The motel is located near good restaurants a mall and movie theater and is freeway close.

The main reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is the customer service. The staff could have been more helpful and welcoming. Unfortunately, some of our interactions felt less than helpful, which took away from an otherwise pleasant experience. Overall, it was a decent stay, but there is definitely room for improvement when it comes to staff helpfulness and customer service.

Dirty rooms and very uncomfortable beds

Every thing was good for a very price friendly location. The only thing that I was disappointed was there was NO elevator to the second floor? I thought all places of business had to offer an elevator for upper floors in California! Otherwise it was a budget hotel. Would stay again but probably get a first floor room B+

Really liked this Motel 6 but a few things could be better. Entry doors were not kept locked so anyone could have entered from the side entrances. Lighting in the room could be better. Others that these things, rooms were spacious and clean. It was quiet and comfortable. The tub faucet in my room was dripping. I let the front desk know and within a few minutes a maintenance person came (after 5pm) and fixed it! I would stay here again.
