Four Points by Sheraton Charleston

Everyone was very friendly and it was very clean

Clean, comfortable property within easy walking distance of local breweries and restaurants. Nice view of the river.

Absolutely perfect location for the Charleston Distance Run and the late check out made it possible to get back from the race and grab a shower before check out.

The head of the grill was great. He was very helpful to accommodating our food allergy.

HOTEL IS OUTDATED. NOT WORTH THE PRICE.

Staff friendly Our linens were not favorable. The down comforters were very old and feathers clumped together. The comforter was thin and worn. When acknowledged it was said that there were not enough linens in the hotel as they had a "full house" and housekeeping was trying to keep up.

The good news is that there is no smoking in the building. The bad news is if you want to smoke you have to walk off of the property (in all kinds of weather). They are very aggressive about limiting smoking opportunities. Some folks will love that, it left me feeling put upon.

I expected a four points to be nicer I wish I just would have went to courtyard like I normally would. the room smelled like a gym locker room, some light fixtures didn't work, dated and for 300+ for a night I expected more. I didn't even end up staying I just drove home after the concert.

So that was sad start to our stay and it gets better . . . The parking was terrible to find a spot that didn’t say “reserved.” We had to park all the way at the top level. Then they have one tiny elevator that takes a long time and we had 3 ppl in front of us, so we had to use two flights of stairs to walk to another set of elevators to get to our room. The room was decent. The bed was comfy. A few guests were loud after midnight yelling and laughing in the hallway off and on for a hour. Not something the hotel staff has control of. My husband and I check out the next morning and we couldn’t get out of the parking deck. We called the front desk staff from where it says to “call for assistance” at the parking box, nobody was answering. My husband had to get out of the car to walk to the building over and to get someone at the front desk in the hotel. The front desk tells my husband to call for assistance and my husband tells them we did and we called twice and no one was answering. And they noticed that the phone was left off the hook which is why no one answered our call from the parking garage. It was such a nightmare. Thankfully our stay was short. But still not the best experience by any means. They can do better.

It was convenient So run down, the rooms were tiny, smelly and humid, there were ants in our room, beds were rock hard

Unlikely we would stay again.

Room was nice. Requests were accommodated. Customer service, no matter what time of day, was exceptional even when they were learning a new system. Breakfast is a la carte, but definitely worth the price you pay. Never have I had a meal that tasty AND well-seasoned from a hotel, where I didn't need to add anything extra. A special thanks to Gabe and the shuttle drivers. From my arrival to my departure, those gentlemen were nothing short of exceptional as far as their customer service and professionalism. Honestly, I'd really have to scrutinize just a couple things. There was a hair on the bathroom wall, next to the shampoo/conditioner/body wash station. Didn't bug me at all but felt it needed to be noted. Also, the door going into the room needed a little more force to close than normal. It didn't fully shut on its own. Something to be mindful of.
