Great location. Large hotel.

We have stayed here on a few occasions. Everyone is very helpful. The rooms are clean. The facility could use some tlc.
-
This place was bad. THe room was ok but needs remodeled. There are lots of random folks staying in the parking lot and staff just lets them. Look for other locations.

Was likely amazing in its heyday. Just dated. And huge! Get ready to get your steps getting to your room (not a complaint). Feels like a campus, but grounds are beautiful, just old. We did end up eating at the restaurant but were the only people there for whatever reason, at prime dinner time? Shrimp were great, burger was good. Potato skins and quesadilla were decent enough. Chicken tenders were maybe the worst I’ve ever encountered in all my kids’ chicken finger lifetimes. Server was good, tho. But again we were the only people there. At 7pm. On a Saturday night…? I’d stay here again. And bring a swimsuit next time! The indoor pool was so cool and looked straight out the 70s or 80s!

Paid for a specific room type, we were unable to get that type because we checked in late. We were fine with the different room type but they would not adjust our rate. Front desk was incredibly unhelpful.

Better wifi.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The only thing that would have improved the stay was microwaves in the rooms; the hotel is big and it was quite a walk to get to the business center where there are a couple available.
-
Perfect place to eat, relax, and get a good night sleep after a whole day of driving.
-
it was good distance from bourbon and beyond and the front desk lady was super super nice it’s overpriced. the pictures were misleading. way too much furniture in the room. i booked 2 rooms and one was so moist and humid and had a horrible smell. i paid a lot of money for motel 6 quality. it was a long haul from the car to the room. it’s an old old hotel with “new or remodeled” pricing. this places needs a serious update to the rooms to justify the pricing

The room did the job for what we needed. But it was not very clean. There was no exhaust fan in the ceiling in the bathroom so it got very muggy in the room after only a day with four women showering. The cleaning ladies didn’t come everyday so we had to ask for more toilet paper and towels. The window facing the lake had no screen which is definitely a safety hazard.

Arrived late at night, so did not take advantage of any amenities. The hotel was very clean and quiet. Both ladies I encountered at the desk were very friendly and provided excellent customer service.
-
The rooms showed their age but overall not a bad place to stay. Convenient for the Music Festival and we took advantage of the free shuttle.
-
The rooms definitely need some updating/upkeep. The room was damp and smelled a little musty. Many of the fixtures were loose or broken. Breakfast is only available for purchase. Coffee isn't available on weekday mornings. The area is fine and just a couple minutes to Louisville.

Unique and HUGE compound with a cool pool and nightclub area

Property is old but unique. We had two cockroaches in our room. Bar is fun.

Check-in was easy as before. However, when we got up to the room, they were cleaning the room across the hall. And when I asked for the housekeeper to move one of the cards so I could get to my room, she didn't say anything, but she appeared rather put out. There was no breakfast buffet as there was on Thursday when we were there. And there was offered a continental breakfast for a fee, but there was nothing out for a continental breakfast. So I was quite disappointed in that we were never offered an upgrade for anything, even though that is a question on hotels.com for check-in price was still pretty good. So I might stay there again. But just be aware that breakfast is not included. As it indicates on the first page of reservations. If you read the fine print, it says a fee. And the buffet is fifteen dollars. Which is a little ridiculous

All in all, we had a nice stay. Front desk and maids were all housekeeping were all very nice. Easy check in and out. Hotel offered free shuttle service to a 4 day festival which was awesome. Bartender Ashton was great .. awesome personality and a pleasure to talk to. Jeremy who works security and drove the shuttle was great as well. We enjoyed the both of them. Water pressure in shower is good. Rooms were clean. Hotel could use a little updating, but wasn't horrible. If I had to complain about anything, there were several centipedes in the pool, but can't really fault the hotel on that. However, pool can use a good scrub. There was pool scum around the water line.

I would like to give a shout out to Ashton, the bartender. She was AMAZING!! She was prompt while taking care of many customers all at once. She was super friendly and went out of her way to make sure everyone was taken care of and having fun at the bar. She worked all 3 nights of our stay in addition to morning hours in the restaurant and maintained a pleasant, welcoming approach at all times. She is a great example of service excellence!!

Room was clean, AC was decent, our bathroom sink had been plugged by a previous guest, we talked to a housekeeper in the hall, who informed maintenance, and when we returned that evening it was all fixed and draining properly.
-
The location was good, rooms were clean, pool & lounge area were great, the hotel is a bit outdated but overall was good. Beds and pillow were super comfortable.
