Decent location, 24-hr front desk. Comfortable bed. Fairly quite. Owners seemed pleasant. Later check-out time. $40 CASH only deposit on the room, I don't always carry much cash with me, so don't know what I would have done if i did not have it, There was no warning of this on Booking.com that I recall. The bed linens and shower curtain where very dirty. Looks like the bedspread hadn't been washed in ages. The lighting in the room was terrible and hurt my eyes, very bright blue bulbs in all fixtures. Also no coffee maker, or clock in room.

I have been tricked by Booking.com and buy them and it’s not fair I never stayed on the property because they lied and said they took pets until I got there through Booking.com and then they said they don’t do pet

Very simple motel. Perfect if you need a place to sleep.

Room was fine, price was good/cheap. Had to pay a 40 dollar cash deposit. I said "what's that for?" desk rep said "cause people steal our towels" Got the invoice back next morning with no questions asked and no one checked the room.. so what's the point I guess? Other than that stay was fine.

We have stayed here many times. However, room 106 was full of mold and dirty walls. Told the front desk and was told, “I am so sorry.” The cleaning person has been out of town for two weeks. This problem looked more than a two weeks problem. It’s a shame because we usually stay when passing through. I don’t think I can take a chance that this issue will be resolved, which I also told the lady at the front desk. Nothing, “I am so sorry.” Me too.

Everything was perfect except for the bed, which squeaked loudly with any movement. If it weren’t for that I would give the Legacy Inn 5 stars.

We stayed at The Legacy in Cookeville for one night while travelling from the Smoky Mountains through to Memphis, and it was a really convenient stopover. The location was excellent for us, as it’s just off I-40, making it very easy to get back on the road the next morning. There are also plenty of restaurants and places to eat nearby, which was ideal after a long day of travelling. The welcome at reception was friendly and efficient, and check-in was straightforward. Our room was spacious and clean, which made it a comfortable place to relax for the evening. The air conditioning was fantastic and kept the room really cool, although, like most room AC units, it was a little noisy — but certainly nothing that bothered us. We also appreciated having a fridge in the room, as it meant we could keep our chilled food and drinks at the right temperature while travelling. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great, and the room also had a hairdryer and TV, providing everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay. Overall, The Legacy was a convenient, clean and comfortable stop on our journey, and we’d happily stay again if we were passing through Cookeville. No kettle or coffee facilities in our room

Not the fanciest, but also not the most expensive. Good value for the money and great location if you need access to the Tennessee Tech Campus. Appreciate that they keep the property clean.

I travel the country for my work. I booked and paid for our room online the night before. When I arrived at this hotel late at night to check in, they told me that we needed $40 in cash to get our room. We didn't have that much in cash, and were not able to access an atm right then. They refused to allow us to stay in the room that we paid for, and then refused to give us a refund. We paid for a room and we're never allowed to use it. The staff was very rude, and unwilling to help.

Had a clean, quiet and comfortable stay at Legacy Inn in Cookeville, Tennessee

The Inn was clean, comfortable,...

Location I was placed in a smoking room. I do not smoke. Sheets and bedding had cigarette burns all over them. When I called they told me that smoking rooms reuse bedding with burn holes because smokers fall asleep smoking. One of the comforters had dried blood on it. I Was harassed by cleaning staff because after two days I declined cleaning services. They told me the next day I could not refuse and they would come in regardless because of the health department. There was also not a security lock or chain on the inside of my door. There was a gap between my door and the next room that was way too wide for my comfort. I left 2 days early.

The Inn was clean, comfortable, and staff was very attentive and helpful. I will recommend the Inn to my friends.
