Bed comfort Smell of hotel Hours of rooftop pool - 4 hours from check in to 8 pm isn’t long enough when you have paid $400 to stay for one night by the time you get settled in and get to the pool you have no time ; main reason for our stay and the rooftop dj SUCKS!!!! No ONE ENJOYED THE MUSIC - diversity WINS!! We are in 2026

Very good

Great location, front desk dtaff was great, room was clean, bathroom was excellent. The only thing the room needs to have is a small fridge and a microwave, I don't think hotels have microwaves in rooms anymore, overall I was happy with my stay, and l would stay here again.

The vintage cars and the speakeasy very nice

The room was absolutely stunning, though the view wasn't very exciting. The front desk staff were quite friendly. The property felt very welcoming and warm. It seems the hotel's AC was broken, making our room warm too, but maintenance came to fix it around 1am Despite that hiccup, we really enjoyed our stay and found the place quite enjoyable.

Very clean and staff was helpful

Such a great stay! This hotel is beautiful and had a lot of fun amenities.

It was very clean and comfortable. Wish it would have had a fridge and microwave and I prefer the poofier blankets they had last time I was there than the thinner ones that were there.

The view we received was terrible

I had made plans specifically around enjoying the hotel during my stay, and because I was not informed about the closure until I arrived, those plans had to be completely canceled. At that point, I was essentially left paying for a room while being unable to enjoy a significant part of the experience I had paid for. I understand that private events happen and that circumstances can change, but I feel guests should be given advance notice when an amenity or major part of the hotel experience will be unavailable. Had I known beforehand, I could have made a different decision about where to stay. I hope management will take this feedback seriously. I would also appreciate consideration for some form of compensation or adjustment to my stay, because the experience I booked and expected was not the experience that was provided.

Located in downtown Dallas a few blocks from Deep Ellum, the Statler is a retro-style hotel with two pools and several dining options and a cocktail lounges. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was spacious and clean, housekeeping was thorough, and the space was comfortable, safe, and secure. I would definitely go back next time I am in Dallas.

The Statler is a nostalgic hotel if you know the history, however the rooms just feel like a regular hotel. Our bathroom sink was coming out the wall and bedroom smelled of mildew. The nice part was the access to two pools and the bar onsite but the closing times for the pool was kind of an inconvenience. We also only had a view of the air conditioning units for our anniversary so that wasn’t the best. The onsite valet was also pretty expensive being we had a 4 day stay so we did have to park off site. The overall stay wasn’t bad just nothing to write home about.

We had an amazing time, swam in both pools, the view from my room was amazing, everyone was kind, helpful and friendly, definitely recommend and will be coming back!
