This was the most ghetto Windham I've ever stayed in

i did not like that we left at 1:30 am because of yelling and screaming and what sounded like domestic violence coming from the room beneath ours. i did not like the inability to get a refund - but the staff member was very apologetic and kind.

Overall the place was not clean. Our sheets had stains and inner curtains were ripped.

Check-in and check-out were easy, and the attendants were nice. It was disappointing that I had to ask for towels and toilet paper. Breakfast was just ok. Not a lot of selections. The waffle machine was good, but the eggs were cold. For $200+ for two nights, I expected better quality. I understand this was not a 5-star resort hotel, but the hotel should still maintain basic cleanliness and upkeep.

The AC in our room was not working

When trying to find my room, I couldn’t find it was on the other side of the wall. There’s no placards or anything on the walls. Tell me where anything is my room was terrible. Half the lights lit up or did not work. The popcorn ceiling was falling down I went into the bathroom. There was all bugs in the white white above me, and when I pulled the shower curtain across and mold all over it, the air conditioner in the room did not work, kept turning on and turning off people standing around Alzheimer smoking and throwing their cigarette butts everywhere, yelling and complaining and I refuse to be put back of the bill because it looked like there was crime happening. I didn’t feel safe back there so I asked for a room upfront by the Road. The people at the front desk were very nice to me and helpful. Also, the girl that took care of making beds and everything. She was nice and helped me find my room barely could have a good night sleep people in the hallway, knocking on the doors asking to come in and stuff into other rooms. I felt very unsafe.

I had a very comfortable stay at wingate dayton . Breakfast was good and staff were friendly

The location was good. It was near several different restaurants and very close to the highway so it was convenient to get to. The staff were also very nice and check in and check out were very quick. Most of the towels had stains on them, as did the bedsheets and pillows. The room also had a weird smell to it when we first entered. The body wash in the shower was completely empty and the ceiling light in the bathroom was covered with mold.

Faculty wasn’t excellent, especially regarding service animals needs.

i checked in early like around 2 pm on sunday i checked in my room n find out the wall was like falling apart the channels on tv none of them work the police is constantly parked outside hotel entrance but what you get what you pay for for the price i pay i can’t complain much

What they don't mention is that the Wingate in on the 3rd floor and Baymont was on the 1st and 2nd floors. Needed a key to access the 3rd. Room was clean, but need some serious renovation. Ceiling was peeling. Room at some point was painted a different color, but they didn't paint around light fixtures. Breakfast buffet was supposed to be from 7am to 9-10am. Went down at 7:30am and nothing there but 2 slices of bread. Lady in charge was just standing there with no attempt to restock. Had to go to a restaurant to eat. Clerk had assured us that the Baymont residents would be ok. Saw them with plates of all the food like they were getting food for the whole day. Checked out a day early due to being disappointed and was assured of a refund for the early checkout. still haven't received it a week later.

I did not feel safe and felt extremely grossed out. I don’t have super high standards, just not at all what I was expecting.

There were a ton of ants in our room and the AC barely worked. It also said non smoking but reeked of weed.

Definitely do not take your family here.

Yes the breakfast, I was looking for eggs and bacon or sausage

I’d skip this place! Hallway was disgusting. Room smelled musty. Windows were filthy. Pool was murky and unusable.
