Hilton Garden Inn Daytona Beach Airport

The hotel smells damp and has an odor that does not smell clean. Also needs remodeling some up keep will help the hotel. It is in a great location has great prices and rooms are spacious

Improve the breakfast

The on;y issues were: 1. There was a maint. issue that was not resolved before the room was cleared for use. 2. House keeping gathered used bathroom linen without replacing.

It was easy to get checked in and into my room and the hotel was what I expected from mid-tier.

Middle of the afternoon the fire alarm only in my room. No reason for it. The light inside the door only worked some time.

Location

1. The tub drain stopper was snapped off 2. The entry light was burnt out 3. The outlets and reading lamp on the bedside closest to the windows were dead 4. The toilet seat was very loose so you slide around when you sat I have come to expect a much higher standard from Hilton brand hotels and while this was a one off, it did color my possible choosing of this particular hotel again in the future.

3rd or 4th stay and this one wasn't the best. Cleanliness inside bath were under expectations. Several noticeable unclean areas including toilet and shower. It seems some renovations should be looked into for rust and cracks where water stains have settled. Tiny bugs were present this time. Spotted in multiple areas of the suite. Offered to move last night or a spray by maintenance, but didn't want strong spraying while there and to move everything for 6 or 7 more hours wasn't feasible. Disposable restroom cups and shower caps could be added as guest courtesy. This review wasn't to discard the entire establishment, but attention is needed in order so future returning customers are aware in case no changes take place. New place next time. Oh, the return or discount for the issues was given through a free parking deduction which was a new addition.

I had an amazing stay. Clean and quiet property, spacious room, good accommodations, great location. Definitely coming back!

NOT HILTON QUAITLY!

When making reservations I enquired if breakfast came with rm and they said we do have breakfast at hotel. After checking in I found out that they do have breakfast but it is $14.99 . They do have but it NOT INCLUDED. that puts a bad taste in things —-no puni intended— the Hilton I stayed in before which is right across the street . Same great service same great everything same great breakfast but it WAS INCLUDED.
