Comfort Inn Near UNT

The front desk was vacant when I approached. I heard someone’s phone and was able to locate the concierge—who was laid out barefoot in the breakfast room with the doors closed in the dark. They gave us new bedding that we put on ourselves. The whole ordeal was foul and I was unable to reach a manager when we checked out to have the room refunded. Our keycards were also demagnetized twice upon re-entry into our room forcing us to go to the front desk to get them reactivated. Other than that, our ac unit worked well and kept the room cool at night and the complimentary coffee wasn’t that bad.

I would NOT recommend this place to at all! The staff was kind, but the hotel is old & needs to be updated badly. There were holes in wall with tape covering, stains on the lamp shades & curtains, low water pressure & much more! Save your money & go elsewhere.

Room was dirty, there was visible black mold/mildew in the bathroom ceiling, and room had a stale, musky odor. Breakfast was poor, no bagels, scrambled eggs were watery and had cheap mini muffins out from the dollar tree. Lobby was filthy and unkept. We were passing through town, and needed somewhere to stay for the night.

Really appreciated the fact that you have total control of the AC! Some newer systems limit the lowest temp you can set it to, but here we can crank it down and actually cool off and get some sleep! Hot water, good water pressure were a plus as well.

There beds were comfortable. Perimeters electronic card swipe doesn’t work. We are forced to go in through the front even though we parked right next to side door. Card swipe at room door continuously fails. Had to get my card reprogrammed every time I tried to go back inside my room. Bathroom door knob is broken making it difficult to exit the bathroom. Gym has been broken down for months.

There was very little I liked the towels were still dirty you could tell some one cleaned something with one of the towels and put it back. And then in the shower the ceiling was covered in black spots as well as the shower walls and no it wasn't the design you could tell the different s between the design and the dirtyness. And the pool was very dirty. And to top it all off someone was trying to get into my room and the room my other family member was staying in so I would only recommend staying here if you are traveling with a man and defiantly not alone.

The property was not clean. The blanket and sheets had stains. I had to purchase a sheet set at Walmart just to sleep comfortably. They charged my debit card twice for a one night stay. The issue was promptly fixed.

The parking was fine The floors were filthy, I had to switch rooms four times for broken locks and leaking showers. There was no water pressure. The room smelled terrible. There was mold growing in the sink.

There were clumps of long hair and pieces of dead cockroaches on the floor in my room. Not a well-maintained property.

Floors were super sticky and place is not updated. Will not book again every towel and sheets poor quality.

I had to leave just an hour after checking in. The sheets were dirty and had hair from previous guests. I asked the front desk for another room, but the second room had the same issue and also a strong, unpleasant cleaning odor. I’m currently working with Expedia to get a refund because the hotel conditions were unacceptable, and I ended up having to go out at night to find a different place to stay.

The breakfast menu was good. I love the Texas-shaped waffles. We did not use the hot tub; we didn't know they had one. The faucet in the shower was continuously dripping. We could not sleep because of the sound of the dripping, especially in the middle of the night. We could not shut the bathroom door to minimize the dripping noise. The door does not close, and it was stuck.
