Homewood Suites by Hilton Denton

It’s good

Location near restaurants, walkable. Nice staff, good breakfast. Roomy, clean accommodations. Fair price compared to other places. A guest left their old dog in their room next to us and it yapped loudly and without stopping. Staff said they couldn't do anything until 10pm, though they attempted to contact the guest repeatedly. The hotel was full, but they found a room to move us to. The new room was very quiet.

Nice clean hotel in a nice area. Great breakfast with pleasant staff.

Clean room that was pet friendly and amazing customer service.

Very spacious and neat Absolutely nothing

I liked the ceiling fan above the bed because I’m always hot

Thank you to all the wonderful staff.

Very good

I'd stay there again.

Room was somewhat old and kind of dirty

Great for families! Would stay here again.

The staff truly made our stay memorable. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and welcoming, and the older woman working breakfast on our second morning was absolutely wonderful. She was warm, kind, and took great pride in what she did. The breakfast that morning was fresh, well presented, and a completely different experience. I also loved the location. It was peaceful, just far enough from the interstate to be quiet while still being convenient for travelers. The view of the water in the morning and evening was beautiful and made for a relaxing stay. Unfortunately, our stay started with a frustrating check-in experience. I had already prepaid through Booking.com and had my confirmation showing the reservation was fully paid. I was told my card was only being used for incidentals, but the hotel ended up charging me for the room a second time. I'm still working to resolve the duplicate charge, which put a damper on the trip. The room also didn't seem to have been cleaned thoroughly before our arrival. There was a noticeable odor, the shower and table didn't appear to have been properly cleaned, and the floors needed sweeping. Breakfast on our first morning was disappointing. The food looked unappetizing, with watery sliced ham, rubbery eggs, fruit that didn't appear fresh, and waffle batter that was thick and clumpy. Thankfully, our second morning was a complete turnaround thanks to the wonderful breakfast attendant, whose care and attention made all the difference.

Exceptional

Room was very spacious for our party of (5). Staff was very helpful when we needed something.
