Beautiful hotel in the historic Book Building. Great location, walkable to the baseball or football stadiums. Great room too. Would definitely stay again.

Loved having the kitchen. It was nice to have real glasses and ice in the room for drinks. Bed was so very comfortable! Loved the sheets and comforter. Wish I knew where I could buy them! Location was awesome and very close to everything. It was only ahalf mile walk to Coametica.

Great hotel. Very clean and comfortable and staff were great

Our one night stay was for a local staycation and to be able to spend more time in Detroit than we usually get to in order to explore the city. Roost was the perfect choice for us. The room was clean, stylish, spacious and comfortable. It was located right on the edge of nightlife, close to everything we wanted to see. We had a drink and quick bite at Sakazuki and it didn't disappoint at all. The staff were super accommodating and made great recommendations. Our room was on the 4th floor right behind a bank of elevators. We did hear quite a bit of street noise, but never once heard an elevator or people in the hallway.

The property was in an AMAZING location. Walking distance to all shopping, bars and restaurants. Beautiful rooms, it was like having your own apartment downtown. Definitely would always stay here.
-
The room was like a little loft apartment. Well appointed. Full kitchen on side of living area. Very clean and everything mostly new including laundry machines. Cleaning staff was super friendly as were the valets. Hotel desk staff were a little aloof. They seemed to have better things to do than to help the person right in front of them. Overall, a lovely stay.

Incredible apartment! We only stayed for one night, but we loved the fully-stocked kitchen. It was a lifesaver for my dietary restrictions. We can't wait to come back and have time to explore the other features!

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by this beautiful apartment-style hotel. The architecture is stunning, the amenities are incredible, and our one-bedroom apartment was absolutely gorgeous. The modern furnishings made it feel luxurious and comfortable, while still feeling like a true home away from home. Everything was impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. And the staff?! Absolutely wonderful. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, especially Marissa at the front desk. She went above and beyond to make our stay special. We were incredibly grateful that an early check-in was available for us, and they even surprised us with cookies! 🍪❤️ Such a thoughtful touch. I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at ROOST Detroit. It was one of those stays where you leave thinking, “Wow… that was special.” We felt so comfortable, cared for, and welcomed from beginning to end. If you’re visiting Detroit, I cannot recommend ROOST Detroit highly enough. We absolutely loved our stay and will 100% be back! ✨🏙️❤️
