Wedding Hotels in Florence

Start with the reception and banquet space: the Hampton Inn & Suites Florence-North-I-95 offers about 2,100 square feet in its Palmetto Ballroom and 10 event spaces, while the Hilton Garden Inn Florence has about 1,400 square feet in its Grand Ballroom and 11 event spaces. Guest-room counts matter too, especially if you have out-of-town family staying multiple nights. Look at proximity to your ceremony site and whether the hotel can accommodate both your reception and guest rooms in one place.

Think about where your ceremony will be and how far guests will need to travel. If you're holding the reception at the hotel, everyone can walk back to their rooms without worrying about late-night transportation. The hotels on this list are along I-95 and near the airport serving Florence, making them accessible for guests flying in or driving from other parts of South Carolina and beyond.

A good wedding hotel has enough event space for your reception, enough guest rooms for your out-of-town guests, and facilities like getting-ready suites (though those vary by property). The Florence Express Inn, for example, has about 1,800 square feet in its America's Best Value Inn Ballroom and 96 guest rooms, while the Hampton Inn & Suites offers more event space and room capacity. On-site catering, coordination, and amenities differ by hotel, so confirm those details when you book.

Yes. For a block of 9 or more guest rooms, Engine Groups handles the booking. For 8 rooms or fewer, you can book self-serve on Engine. The hotel's event and reception space can be searched, compared, and booked through Engine Spaces, Engine's marketplace of hotel meeting and event spaces across the U.S. and Canada, or you can arrange it with the hotel directly.

Engine offers consolidated invoicing, so you can manage payments in one place instead of coordinating with individual guests. You have multiple payment options, and there's no membership fee to use the platform. This makes it easier to keep track of costs and ensure your wedding party and guests have a smooth booking experience.
