Frequently asked questions

How do I find a hotel close to my ceremony venue in Franklin?
Start by searching the hotels on this list and checking their addresses against your ceremony location. Many couples choose a hotel that can host both the reception and guest rooms under one roof, which makes it easy for your wedding party and out-of-town guests. Engine lets you search, compare, and book these properties so you can see availability and rates in one place.
How far in advance should I reserve a block of rooms for my wedding?
Most couples book their room block six to twelve months before the wedding date, especially if your big day falls during peak season or a local event weekend. For a block of 9 or more rooms, Engine Groups handles the booking. For 8 or fewer, you can book the rooms yourself through Engine's self-serve platform.
Can Engine help with both guest rooms and the reception space?
Yes. For guest rooms, Engine Groups manages blocks of 9 or more rooms, and smaller bookings are self-serve. The hotel's reception and event space can be booked through Engine Spaces, Engine's free marketplace of hotel meeting and event spaces across the U.S. and Canada, or you can arrange it with the hotel directly. Engine offers consolidated invoicing, pre-negotiated rates, and no membership fee.
What amenities can wedding guests expect at these hotels?
Amenities vary by property, but most offer complimentary parking, wifi, and on-site dining, and some provide shuttle service to nearby areas. It's a good idea to confirm specifics with the hotel when you book. These details help your out-of-town guests feel welcome and make the weekend easier for everyone.
What should I look for in a wedding hotel?
Look for a hotel with ample reception and banquet space, enough guest rooms for your party and out-of-town guests, and convenient facilities like getting-ready suites. The Franklin Marriott Cool Springs, for example, offers about 14,000 square feet in its Champion Ballroom and 29 event spaces across 300 guest rooms, while the Embassy Suites by Hilton Franklin Cool Springs has about 10,000 square feet in its Embassy Ballroom and 9 event spaces with 250 guest rooms.
Why don't you show rates for these hotels?
Hotels give Engine rates they only allow us to show business travelers, so a public page cannot list them. Create a free account with your work email to see them.
Is Engine free?
Yes. An Engine account is 100% free and without commitment, and you can leave anytime. Sign up with your work email.
