Comfort Inn & Suites Golden – Denver West

We had a great stay at Comfort Inn and Suites Golden. The staff was amazing. We will definitely return!

No microwave in room.

Otherwise it was perfect for my needs. Price was reasonable, close to Redrocks and other than the picture and the lamp shade it was a very clean room.

This place was a decent value hotel. The lobby and breakfast areas were really good, and along with the hot tub area were the best features. The room was cozy and clean, but the air conditioner unit was sporadic. Money has been spent on many areas for upgrades, but they forgot about the hallways, which were dank and smelly.

No housekeeping ever for over 7 days. Made Management aware and requested Service over four times but no result.. intend to contact Comfort Inn suites corporate headquarters and make them aware of the situation as well extremely disappointed in the situation and that there was no response to my request

Previous reviews pointed out some of the issues we had, for example they did not acknowledge change to reservation until I actually had a hotels.com representative on my cell phone in the office. We were there 3 nights. Housekeeping doesn't enter until you check out. Fruit was only available 1 day, no fresh fruit other days. Breakfast poorer than standard. But the big issue was the hot tub with an unsafe entry. I fell getting in and at 76, wrenched my leg. It was seriou enough to require a cane. I reported to front desk who left a note for manager. This was Sarurday night. No contact Sunday and manager not available so left another note. No contact. Asked for late check out Monday which was granted and reaffirmed. We went to get our things and dogs and the keys had been deactivated. Hobbled back to check in and the desk clerk had stepped away and nobody else knew how to make keys, including the manager whom I finally cornered. That is when I got angry and confronted him on not contacting me. His excuse, he thought I had left. 2 1/2 days after accident. Plus he had my phone number. So there were moments of kindness from front desk staff but manager who is new was a complete failure and hot tub, also new, a major safety hazard, with inadequate handrails and lighting on motion detector at the door. Hotels.com should remove this property.

Room was clean and elk maintained.

Cheap and located close to where I needed to go. The room cleanliness was fine but the hallway carpets and elevators were absolutely disgusting. It was close to the highway so it was loud.

Location Was changing hands so a bit chaotic

The staff attitude. Speed of the WiFi.

Breakfast was missing fresh fruit and no eggs on the last day. Milk not refrigerated or on ice.

9/20/26 Sunday laundry did have the amount quarters for laundry, couldn't tell me the correct cost of to run the washer. No information of how long the washer or dryer took to run their cycles. Communication barrier. Quiet in our room. Did clean or make bed daily or vacuum, empty out our trash daily or hallways.

Location to downtown Golden was convenient. Staff member at check in was nice. Had to request clean sheet blanket for pullout sofa. Called front desk and was assured they would deliver. Had to call again 30 min later and Staff member said they were very busy but would deliver personally. She did and was very nice Room was very dated. Carpet throughout was disgusting. No walking around without shoes!! Moldy shower curtain, filthy furniture. Toilet paper holder constantly turned and dropped roll onto floor. Lighting was not good in bedroom...one small lamp?

Comfortable bed & pillows, spacious room, bathroom shower area is very tight. Hot tub and sauna main reason I stayed here. Breakfast options good and plentiful. Conveniently located near food, shopping, attractions. Lots of parking

The room was with it and the front desk staff awesome. Great stay over all but the ac runs 24/7 in the room even when set to a temp, the property is a little worn but it's probably cause mountain traffic staying
