The room was kept clean, a very good location, I also liked that the hotel provides beach towels and chairs. I recommend it.

Beautiful hotel with a great location and fun atmosphere, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing especially considering we were there for our wedding. The room was beautiful, but storage was extremely limited. We were also told a Jeep was available, but it wasn’t. We had issues with our promotional rate that required us to cancel and rebook a room, which felt risky so close to our wedding. The biggest issue happened on our wedding morning. Expedia mistakenly charged my card, causing it to be frozen. I suddenly had no access to money for breakfast, coffee, vendors, or other wedding-day expenses, and was told the refund could take 3–7 business days. What made this worse was the lack of empathy from management. Instead of feeling supported, I felt dismissed and overwhelmed to the point that I was crying in the lobby on my wedding day. Unfortunately, our friends staying at the hotel also had their AC stop working and ultimately had to leave and find another hotel. The property itself is beautiful, but when something goes wrong, the way guests are treated matters more than the aesthetics. For a wedding trip, this added unnecessary stress to what should have been one of the most special times of our lives.

Parking was not great- there was no available spots upon our arrival. We had to park several blocks over- not a great start to our vacation. However, quite a few of the nights we were able to find street parking.

NOTHING Everything was terrible. It was absolutely not worth the price. We regretted every penny we spent. This was my second stay at this hotel, but it definitely did not feel like the same place. Everything has changed so much. The hygiene was awful, and many of the staff members were very unpleasant and rude — not all of them, but quite a few. I definitely would never stay there again.

Great pool area, live music, friendly staff, great location A little noisy at night, no tea and coffee making facilities in our room but overall a fantastic stay

Great view of Ala Wai canal and Diamond Head. Convenient location to International Marketplace. Room size seemed smaller than shown in the photos. Slow service at the restaurant. Quite costly to stay.

Passable

Location was perfect for our work trip. Easy walkability to many shops, restaurants, and beach. Coffee shop in the lobby was perfect, esp for the early mornings. Pool area was so-so, restaurant had good poke, according to my co-worker. Staff was superior and very friendly! My room view was of a rooftop and trash alley, even tho I requested same rooms for my co-worker and I. His overlooked the canal. Parking was undesirable, at least the first night when valet was full and we had to park in a structure several blocks away and walk back. And then find it again early the next morning. After that we were able to park at the hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay at Wayfinder. The room was a great size with a lovely balcony and bathroom. I particularly enjoyed the activities such as the stretching class which was fab and a great lei making session. Great selection of cocktails and food and a nice pool and hot tub. The hotel staff were welcoming and friendly, we even got a free bottle of wine for our honeymoon and the bed decorated with flowers which was very nice and much appreciated! The location is great as you are close to shops, restaurants and beaches we even walked quite a few places. Lots of bus stops nearby which was very handy, particularly for going to and from the airport. You do need exact change or a travel card for the bus though. I don't know if the stairs were accessible but we couldn't seem to find them so more signs for these would be helpful as it would have been nice to walk up/down a few times instead of waiting for the lift every time. One of the table lamps in our room also wasn't working but still plenty of light so wasn't really an issue. It was quite expensive but I think that is everywhere in Waikiki.

Loved the Pool Studio. The decor is nice in the room. The hotel itself is well decorated. Nice and helpful staff. The restaurant is so nice to have for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Loved having the poolside bar option, too. And honestly had no trouble with street parking (probably lucked out).

The staff were very helpful. They even arranged for my wife and I to return to the room we had just checked out of so my wife could lay down and recover after the paramedics had finished with her. Very impressed with their level of concern. Highly recommend The Wayfinder as a place to stay in Waikiki.

The room was really nicely put together- well designed, thoughtfully arranged, and with a few nice touches. The staff was super friendly and were a step above. The location was a 5 minute walk from the beach and a couple minutes from all sorts of restaurants and markets. The sound from the pool (we were in a pool house suite) and from the next room over could be loud. Pool noise is only during the day, but the sound from next door impacted sleep on a couple nights.
