It's conveniently located Roaches No basic amenities Reservation management system didn't work correctly

no water or drinks accessible to purchase at lobby. Staff is nice...Couldnt even get a fork or a spoon. Rooms weren't that great.

Only good part was the staff. Hotel has no pool, no free continental breakfast, and is under construction. Had to take a shuttle to another hotel to receive free breakfast. I killed a roach on the bed on the first day. Hotel looks hidden. The power even went out for one night. Again great front desk but the rest was terrible. I will not be staying here again for my next visit.

This was by far the worst experience ever. They would not give us refunds .We got moved to three different rooms It smell like mildew and then finally they sent us to another motel that was through them Andy then it was three cockroaches

Bad

The smell. It had a dingy, almost moldy type smell to it. The bed didn’t seem to have had the sheets changed because there were dirt smudges on them. I travel with sheets. It was not a pleasant stay. Check out before 11 but at 8:30 knocking ensued. Sad?

Booked the room in error 3 weeks in advance, called 30 minutes after booking and they wouldn’t allow me to cancel.

We found roaches in the room, which was extremely concerning. The restroom was in poor condition, with rust throughout and a dirty toilet. The refrigerator was falling apart, and several of the cabinets were damaged as well. There was also not enough storage space to put our clothes away, making our stay very uncomfortable. Overall, the room was not clean or properly maintained and did not meet reasonable expectations.

Everything else. It’s a shabby place. One step above a nice motel
-
Ac didn't work and no water pressure
-
Outdated rooms, no clear communication wih guests regarding amenities like shuttle bus.

Breakfast was plain not what you would expect from a hotel. There was only hard boiled eggs, biscuit with sausage and egg, cereal, and toast.

The hotel used to be Hyatt. It's a little hard to find since it's a little hidden but it was worthwhile staying there. Price was very reasonable. Room is spacious. It had two full size beds and a sofa sleeper. It was decorated nicely. Plenty of security cameras throughout the building so we felt safe. Not sure what happened with WiFi; it was not offered or not available. The air conditioner kept the room cold but our AC unit made a little noise like the "artificial rain" instrument. Beds were a little soft but the linens were clean. Water pressure was really good on second floor, a little too strong. Breakfast was simple. Eggs, sausage, cereals, oatmeal, apples, mixed fruit, biscuits or waffles. Pets are not allowed. Expedia listing is wrong saying they are allowed. Had to make other arrangements back home for our dog. We enjoyed the time we spent there since it wasn't crazy busy. It was nice and quiet. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

Using GPS to get to the property parking lot will take you to a dead end street that has been blocked off. Use the FedEx Store address of 315 N Sam Houston Pkwy E, Houston, TX 77060. Slow down and turn right at the very next right turn. At night, you can read Hyatt Place under the sign covering for The IAH Houston Hotel. The hotel is behind the FedEx Store. Continue driving through the gate. It's normal for there to be very few vehicles in the parking lot.

Clean rooms, great service.

I was shocked at how nice the setup was for the rooms & for the price. I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was good especially the fruit. The only thing is I wish there was a microwave in the room & ice machines on each level. I had to keep going down to the 1st level
