The hotel was terrible with a horrible smell! We checked in and out within a few minutes! The pictures that are provided in the website are not accurate!!!

During my visit in mid-August, the hotel was getting a facelift and there is some construction going on. Ice machine wasn't working well, the kitchen sink water pressure in my room was too low but everything else was fine. Just the inconveniences of upgrading the facility. I will stay here again when I return to Houston in a couple of months.

The customer service representative was not friendly, and kept asking if I have pets. When I told her multiple times that we did not. She was very rude and kept calling me “mam” and was raising her voice because I told her I did not have the credit card with me only on my phone. I asked about the points and about maybe adding another night. But she was rude and I didn’t feel like staying another night, anymore. It was under construction in the bottom which is okay. But the workout room was not working, and it was pricey for the quality and rude customer service.

The bedding stunk like days old sweat and felt dirty. Asked for fresh bedding and was told they didn't have anything extra. Checked out early due to this and was not offered a refund, discount, or anything to make up for this.

The room was very nice and quiet, two rooms are easy to access and have kitchen, it’s we like it. We don’t like is the bathroom is not have air exhaust fans.

Location was good for my needs. Check in took way too long. Staff was nice but asked for the same things over and over again. Took 15 minutes. Hotel is under construction and is a complete mess. Iron was broken. Facility is showing its age. Kind of embarrassing for a Marriott.

Cable and streaming service was spotty. The air in room smelled like mildew as if the filter needed to be changed. The property allows pets so prepare to hear tons of barking if placed near.
