Layla and her staff had made me and my family feel so comfortable here at the Maui Seaside. When we had no where to go they welcomed us with open arms. Very respectful throughout our stay and i just want to say mahalo

If you are there to have a nice looking room pay the extra for the deluxe rooms. I want a cheap route and the room was not what I expected. Very outdated. Cracked walls, circulation of air was 6/10. However outside the room, everything was as expected!

The staff could not have been better. Fe was particularly helpful and I don't think the staff could have been any better 10 stars for sure. I loved the updated room.

Love the updated rooms & location. The front desk is not very good about picking up the phone. Your phone call gets sent to voicemail quite a bit. Twice last night, once this afternoon. Watched a possibly homeless woman take an hour long shower at the outdoor shower. She proceeded to wash, loofah & deep conditioner her hair…& including her bits in every area. Unacceptable. Tried to call the front desk to alert security, went to voicemail.

Great location, and the staff were very friendly. Our stay was good, but the facility is an older buildings and parts need to be renovated. They have started to renovate but they want an extra $50 per day for a newer room.

I was told I would be moved to another room, only to be relocated two doors down to essentially the same view. The entire experience felt dismissive and almost like a slap in the face. I would have appreciated a genuine effort to address the issue rather than being moved to a virtually identical room. Overall, I was disappointed with the room and the way the situation was handled, especially after paying extra for an ocean view.

Maui Seaside was clean, charming, conveniently located to restaurants and food trucks. The staff were helpful and very kind.

Mattress was not comfortable. The digital display on the split AC was an inch or more square & extremely bright. It illuminated the entire room all night and was too high on the wall (ceiling level) to block out. Hotel could consider to provide eye masks.

Check in not until 4pm. Quite late after a long day. No late checkout past 12pm. Very run down rooms that are tiny. They’re clean but really expensive for what you get.
