Can’t say enough about how sweet the staff was during our stay, even though they were extremely shorthanded.

  • Engine customer Sep 2026

Absolutely yes Sheraton canceled our reservation while we were descending to the island Sheridan was aware 2 days earlier but sent an email two days late and ruined our trip

We were turned away due to the hurricane the day before .

  • Engine customer Sep 2026

We had to last minute book because of the hurricane. Really appreciate the staff feeding us and helping us find a taxi to the airport. They helped make us feel safe during a stressful time.

  • Engine customer Sep 2026

There was a hurricane so we couldnt use any amenities like power hot water and washing machines lol

  • Engine customer Sep 2026

I arrive just before the hurricane. The staff was absolutely incredible doing all they possibly could for us. I had to extend an extra day and they accommodated me bending over backwards I could not be more pleased and impressed with the staff in particular, especially at reception.

The location was pretty The power went out at 7pm and was still off at check out.. my room flooded. The breakfast was doomsday rations. For $500/ night

    Exceptional

We paid extra for the breakfast package. The breakfast was very good. The room we ended up was also very good. and had a great view. The original room had a view of the pool slide and was very noisy so the Bellhop called the front office for us. Parking was good for our rental car. I would stay there again. The Captain Andy's tour we booked at the hotel was good but I found out later that I paid too much for it. About $200 too much. So I probably won't book tours through hotels in the future.

The rest in my opinion falls short of the 4 star, $500+ per night (with all the taxes and fees) hotel. I would give it 3.75 stars but there is no such option. Some areas are dated. You can tell the hotel tries to maintain them by painting stuff over but it shows. For me the worst were supply and return grills for the A/C unit. Very dirty. We actually had been turning the A/C off as much as we could so we would not breathe in the dust!! Thankfully the wonderful ocean breeze helped :) Breakfast buffet is decent but it falls short of the Marriott's standards. Some more daily variety would be nice.

Great location for spending time between the north and south ends of the island.

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

The property is really nice and it’s centrally located. The pictures on the website look exactly as they do in real life. The views are spectacular, the pool overlooks the ocean. There are multiple dining options, and the food is really good. You also have access to free beach chairs and umbrellas that you can take on excursions. Highly recommend this place.

The property was well maintained and comfortable. The check-in was easy and we appreciated that the pool was open until 10pm. We ate at the poolside restaurant the next day and loved the poke nachos. One thing I caught after checkout was that we were supposed to have a "welcome drink" and lei provided to us included in our resort fee and we were only given the leis. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay!

Excellent location, service and breakfast. Front dest concierge Kareb Barns was especially helpful and extremely nice. She helped us with serf lesson, dinner reservation and the best hiking recommendations

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Room was unclean, aged. The cost did not feel worth the experience. The shave ice was a nice touch, but did not make up for the general musty and unclean room, especially the bathroom.

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. We never waited for anything. Great food. Beautiful pool at a perfect temp with nice smooth lining. Immaculately clean.

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Amazing place to stay. Amenities are great and the pool is awesome. My only complaint is the a/c in the room was not great, but really not a big deal!

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

    Oh well, that was great

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Our stay was very nice! All of the staff were VERY helpful and just AMAZING!! This was one of the biggest things we took away from our trip! Customer service is so important. The only negative thing is the hotel does need a little more of an upgrade. Obviously an older hotel resort. The food was mostly overpriced so we found ourselves eating outside of the resort most days. Overall we enjoyed ourselves, it was a comfortable stay but realized that the price didn’t meet all of our expectations.
