I would give 6/5 stars if I could! The staff were excellent, the pool was beautiful and the location is perfect for someone looking to stay outside of Waikiki and enjoy north shore and Pearl Harbor. I would stay here again in a heart beat!

Wonderful hotel!

No free parking on site. Have to find a spot a block or so away on the street. Breakfast is good. Evening reception is theoretically nice, but the food and drinks were not very good.

The breakfast is good, but hope they could provide boiled eggs.

I enjoyed my stay overall, but the cleanliness could be improved. I found hair in the shower and on the towels. I also paid for parking, but my room key never worked at the gate, so I had to call for entry each time, which was very inconvenient.

Very good breakfast and attached restaurant (Sprigs). All staff were friendly and courteous. Housekeeping did a good job. The room safe was nice. The bedside lights were horrible. Way too bright and glaring. The walls were not very sound-proof. We could often hear the people in neighboring rooms talking. In fairness, sometimes that was families with children who seemed to feel the need to yell every word they said. There were at least a couple of rooms near us who had dogs that were left alone in the rooms and barked incessantly for long periods of time. I thought $40/night for parking was extremely high. That said, the lot was nice and there was plenty of room. Mattresses were marginal as far as comfort. Stayed here to avoid the crowding of Waikiki/downtown Honolulu. We didn’t anticipate how many hours of the day H-1 is very congested with stop-and-go traffic. We met some relatives for breakfast at a restaurant just off H-1 on the other side of Honolulu at 8:30 a.m., about 26 miles away. It took an hour and 45 minutes to get there - almost all on interstates!

The staff cleaned our room every day. You get free buffet breakfast and 2 complimentary drinks everyday per guess. The swimming pool and hot tub were nice. The dinner was also worth trying.

We enjoyed staying at the Embassy Suites in Kapolei. The staff treated us like family and the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Also, the room had a microwave, small frig, and a coffee maker. The free breakfast buffet was very good and features made to order omelet, fruits, hot and cold cereals and got us off to great day. In the evenings, they have a free evening reception that offer drinks and light refreshments. In our travels, we have stayed at other Embassy Suites and found them all to be great places to stay.

Our favorite hotel out there the one reason we are missing a couple stars… my son went to take a shower and there was no rubber mat and he slipped and hit his head. Had his stay up all night no concussion just a big egg on his head :). We will still stay there again! Great staff, big rooms, and yummy breakfast.

Free breakfast, free drinks, complimentary later checkout The pool was smaller than expected, but we were out doing a lot of exploring so it’s still fine.

The pool area was really small. It was only 4 feet. The cushions on the furniture in the area were dirty. I highly recommend removing the cushions. The hotel has no seating or lounge area other than the lobby. I would have loved to sit in area and enjoy the Hawaii views. No transportation to local stops was a huge disappointment. I don’t recommend the location for first time visitors to Hawaii. The staff are great and the breakfast was great. It just lacks amenities and location
