Holiday Inn Express - Atlanta/Kennesaw by IHG

Check-in woman was friendly and efficient. Room preferences accommodated. Adequate parking. Room telephone not working and handset on a very short curled cord; mini-fridge not working; electrical outlet by bed not working; no coffeemaker in room; no extra blanket or pillow in room (desk could not provide one); no bedside clock radio; shelf only between beds instead of small bedside table. No sink in bathroom; uncomfortable mattress leading to sleep loss and pain. Much offered at breakfast - most was gone and slowly replenished, what was left was not very fresh. OVERPRICED!

Breakfast was very good. They kept everything stocked up when it was running low. Choices of food were exceptional, except for a broken pancake maker. The location was perfect for where we needed to be. Some of the staff could work on their friendliness. Our room was tucked in a corner & was too small. Did not realize it would be so small. The bathroom had a few things that needed fixing.

Clean and recently remodeled. Did not utilize free breakfast as we elected to eat at our favorite breakfast spot in Chattanooga. Free parking is a plus.

Room was clean, staff friendly and helpful,gym and pool was clean, air in the room was cool and smelled good.

The front desk clerks were fabulous. There was one that checked us in but I cannot remember her name. Then there was Olive who was very sweet and kind. The rooms were emaculate or very very clean. The breakfast was fabulous also! NeNe cooked everything to perfection.(Funny story: my nickname is also NeeNee. Her name is Nyesha and my name is Neesha.😄) I especially loved the crispy bacon and browned sausages links. The only issue we had was with the 3rd party vendor. We had a convention rate but no rooms were available under that rate or in the hotel for that matter. So we went through Experian. They pre-authorized my room and my uncle's room on my card. However, Ms Sidon (Assistant Manager- I think that is what she told me.) fixed me right up! She answered all of my questions and transfered the preauthorized $136.10 for my uncle to his card instead of mine. She is fabulous! We will DEFINITELY go back again if we get the chance too. You have a fabulous day! 😄😘

I enjoyed it very much. Everybody was pretty nice. I just wish you had biscuits and gravy. For breakfast, but breakfast was 5 stars.

The rooms were great and the staff were very helpful and kind. The overall appearance of the main areas of the hotel seemed outdated. However, I did enjoy my stay while there.

The staff were just so welcoming and professional they did not know our story yet were exactly what we needed to make it through a very difficult night. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the area.
