When I arrived to check in, no one was at the front desk, and I had to wait about 20 minutes before someone came to assist me. I used to enjoy staying here and chose this hotel often, but the overall quality, cleanliness, and service do not seem to be what they once were. Sadly, based on my recent experience, I don’t think I would choose to stay here again.

The staff weee friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent! We loved the oatmeal bar and fresh fruit especially. It was clean and quiet as well.

Great breakfast and loved the all day coffee in the lobby! Sometimes the AC had a musty damp smell.

Meh! Inexcusable no open wifi. In room tv options wretched. Limited not very tasty breakfast. That 1950 wafflemaker? Come on! Watery, characterless coffee. On the whole an $80 stay priced at $160. Dollar store pastries…

It’s close to longwood garden. No internet service and the indoor pool was cold.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the location to downtown Kennett Square and Longwood gardens was great, about a 5 min drive to both locations. However the room was very disappointing. I was surprised given that this is a Marriott property and being a loyal Marriott customer I was very disappointed in the condition of the room. When we arrived to our room we entered what smelt like a musty dungeon. A lot of the wallpaper was peeling off the wall and there was torn carpet everywhere. I can imagine the smell is coming from outdated carpet? I'm not sure exactly but I think the rooms are due for some updating. Luckily we didn't spend much time in our room so we sucked it up and stayed in the must. I think they are aware of the smell because on day two housekeeping sprayed air freshener in our room. The free breakfast was typical hotel breakfast...the coffee taste like water so I reccommend checking out one of the local coffee shops for good coffee.

Superb

All day access to coffee, tea and hot chocolate in lobby. Excellent breakfast. Easy to find. Some damage to room such as strip of carpet missing, multiple scratches on furniture.

Room smelled horrible, very musty unless the ac was on full blast and room was freezing. Thermostat did not work well. No hot water in sink, shower was fine. Carpet was ripped. For the price, this was a poor value and not a pleasant stay.

My stay was great. The room was clean, staff helpful, did not use gym or indoor pool, but were available. I did not know they had a laundry as I probably would’ve used it. All in all, it was a great place to spend 3 nights. I forgot the breakfast ~ it was delicious and had everything

We always stay here when visiting Longwood gardens staff friendly,rooms are clean.

Pool water could be WARMER
