Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Kingsland

I booked to stay for 5 nights and stayed for 1 because it was too late to try to find somewhere else to stay. Our room had no pots or pans, no forks or spoons and no cooking utensils and that was the main reason for me booking there is to be able to cook for my family. The lamp in the bedroom didn't work. The 3rd floor window opened to no screen. The thermostat did not have a fan on button, I prefer that for the noise from neighboring rooms. The smell throughout the hotel just didn't sit right with me, it was a very strong smell, not a bad smell but not a good smell, just a very strong smell. I checked out the next morning and they were nice enough to refund the rest of my stay. Also, the elevator had 1 of 6 working lights and was super dark.

Didn’t really like anything. Hotel is worn, smelly and employee doing the breakfast was slow getting food out and not helpful when a guest requested a reasonable item.

Horrible. I stayed here for 4 days. The lobby and elevator smelled awful. My room was never cleaned. No new sheets, towels, or washcloths the trash was never taken out. The fridge was room temp. There were ROACHES in the bathroom. I cannot believe I paid for this. I want my money back.

pool and hot tub were nice, kids loved the oversized chess board, breakfast was horrible (only edible food are the waffles), good location

This room was very nice, clean and comfortable. We are traveling with our senior dog and had to take a second-floor room, did request a bottom floor when making the reservation couldn't get one when we got there. She did great getting downstairs. Would diffently stay again.

Great place to stay when you need somewhere to go. Front desk is awesome staff. Never caught breakfast. Just be careful with the hot tub and pool sometimes. I enjoyed my stay there. 20 days

This was my second stay here and this time it was disappointing! Upon arrival my room wasn’t very clean! Cobwebs were upon the roof , the toilet was dirty and I killed 3 roaches in the kitchenette area! My first stay here was very pleasant so I was very shocked and disappointed with this stay.

Nothing-the hotel has a mold odor once you enter. The elevator isn't working. The room had dirty linens and towels were cream colored (dirty).The refrigerator was hot.Certain channels on tv had no volume. Both ice machines on the 3rd floor was broken. This hotel is the worse. everything was either broken or not working. The elevator-refrigerator-ice machine-tv -dirty linens and towels. Just awful stay and I wasn't happy the entire weekend of August 28-30 and they wouldn't refund my money either.

Rented jetted tub room and it didn't work no manager on site they switched me to another jetted room and it was also broke they didn't have anymore management isn't on sight it's been a few days no call back the receptionist was awesome she just doesn't have the authority to do anything without jeopardizing her job

The gym for closed for the the week we’re there. I booked this hotel specifically to use the gym.

It was OK for a cheap hotel. Moldy smell throughout the building. One and done for me. Stayed at the Holiday Inn across the street the second night I was in town.

It was very quiet. Very nice friendly staff.

The front desk staff (Jon) appeared aloof, had a flat affect and spoke in a monotone voice when I complained about the initial smelly, smokey, stale cigarette reeked room he assigned to my family during check in. After making Jon aware of the undesirable room, he assigned us to another room that was much better.

The rating and the pictures feel misleading. The property is old and run-down. Dirty, old carpeting with missing portions in the hallway. Roaches everywhere (stairs case and the room, right on the bed/under the pillows). A big moth right on the pillow. Really bad experience.

The whole hotel was hot. The AC in our room did not work. We were given a new room and that room was even hotter. Finally the 3rd room was cooler. The bathroom floor was dirty. The breakfast was horrible and the breakfast area was so hot

Furniture was really old and uncomfortable and dirty!!! Had to spray Lysol on everything because of lingering musty smell. Outdoor area was better than room. The dinning area was fine. We're not bougie but this is one place I wouldn't stay again. The upkeep of the property
