Hampton Inn Knoxville-West At Cedar Bluff

Hotel was run down, very long walk to room and elevator, room smelled like cigarettes, bed sheets look like they had been slept in and not changed. Horrible experience… I would compare to Bates Motel. I never want to stay at this property again!!!

Our stay was not terrible but the hotel did double charge my credit card on Friday when we arrived and could not fix as both are still on my credit card. I was very frustrated. Our room was fine but did have a wet moldy smell in the evenings. Not sure we would stay here again especially for the cost.

Very clean place to stay.

Hotel and room were clean and spacious Bed was not very comfortable. Coil mattress that move one when the other turns. Bathroom floor was very old and with a strange appearance, kind of gross.

Very friendly helpful staff. Even when passing in a hall they would stop to say thank you for staying with us. Clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Location was easy to find and property was nicely maintained. Staff greeted us with a smile and offered complimentary bottled water along with a data sheet for our stay. Room was comfortable and clean.

Hotel has two elevators. When we arrived, only one was working. Hotel was relatively fully booked since it was a UT football home game. By the time we left, the second elevator had stopped working. Had to carry our luggage down two flights of stairs to exit. Was not provided final statement of charges upon checkout. No explanation given. Would not stay here again.

This hotel is clean, good breakfast, plenty of parking and the staff is good too.

Breakfast was good. The noise from interstate was a little annoying but hotel is close to everything. Staff were very nice. Stayed 2 nights. I know that rooms are not cleaned during stay, but it would be nice to have trash removed from rooms. I carried trash to lobby and asked where to put it. Staff, cleanliness, location.
