Was fine other than strong disinfectant smell

I also brought my two dogs with me, and I really appreciated that the hotel is pet-friendly. There is a pet fee per dog, which I completely understand, especially when you’re traveling with pets. I felt very comfortable having my dogs with me, and the pet-friendly policy was a big plus. Overall, I was extremely pleased with my stay. It’s clear that the staff takes pride in keeping the property clean and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in the Lewiston area, and I’d happily recommend this hotel to others—especially fellow travelers with pets!

We stayed for one night because we had an event to attend nearby. The place was clean and comfortable and the employees were friendly. :)

The room was clean. Morning breakfast was free and included make your waffles, bagels, omelettes, yogurt, and fresh fruit.

Room and bath room were very clean. Good continental breakfast.

The room we stayed in smelled heavily of perfume, the sheets were clean but stained, the chair in the room was stained. The AC unit smelled of mildew when it was running. The floors and bathroom felt dirty. We stayed one night and left early due to the condition of the room. Upon check out the front desk told us we shouldn’t have been in that room as they had recently had a long term guest in there and it needed to be deep cleaned. The manager did come out and said the room was deep cleaned, which I find hard to believe, but they said they are refunding us for the night we didn’t stay.

The property is generally run down. Desk clerk announced my room number loudly - a security no no - rather than discreetly writing on my key card envelope. Trash can in the lobby was overflowing. The room was hot - in the summer if a room is booked hint: turn a/c on for the guest who is checking in. The hallways were dirty. My room: all of the towels were stained. Badly. Multiple stains per towel. I was hard pressed to find a clean section for brushing my teeth & washing my face. Bottom of the tub looked dirty so - no morning shower for me! Security latch on the door of my room was simply absent so I placed a chair under the doorknob to sleep. Front desk in the morning said “new girl training” must have used old towels as opposed to new/good towels for the room I stayed in. I cannot comprehend how this has such a good rating.

There was a smell that my family and I didn’t like in our rooms. Beds had hair and there is a large chunk of hair in the curtains in my room, that we can’t understand how in that is possible.

Staff member, Sarah Lynn was very helpful and made our stay comfortable. Clean and convenient lodging.

Corporate should send out someone to correct the situation before it drags down the the best western brand
