Sheraton Mesa Hotel at Wrigleyville West

The hotel itself was okay, and by far most of the staff we encountered around the hotel was great. However, a few of the staff we ran into at the desk seemed like it was an inconvenience to have to answer questions and the two times we took advantage of the hotel cafes, the workers at breakfast were incredibly slow, messed up 4 of the 6 orders we placed, and served 5 of us while one guest didn't get her one bagel until the rest of us were almost finished. Then at lunch by the pool, two of us ordered burgers and one ordered a beverage only. One burger came and was supposed to be medium cooked, but was incredibly well done. The second burger never came out and we had to ask for it again after the initial order was placed. It finally came after the other meal was almost gone and it was very raw, uneatable. For the price, we won't be back to this hotel any time soon.

Also, the elevator at our end of the hotel was never functional. There were no signs. Despite being handicapped., me and my family had to walk to the center of the floor to use elevators thus avoiding the stairs. Handicap parking was woefully inadequate, and the entire hotel had very limited parking. I would not recommend it for anyone with mobility issues. The pool area was very nice,,,

Staff was incredibly friendly. Property was clean and the room was comfortable. Parking was easy, but off-season. My only complaint was lighting (a fixture was out in the bathroom) and water temperature (neither hot nor cold water).

It’s clean, the pool is big. Friendly customer service. There’s no free breakfast lol. I was charged another $200 but I was told it would be refundable hopefully.

Good property

Big parking lot for the RV. Pools and hot tub were nice. Bartender was friendly and made good drinks. Rooms were clean. First room was hot and air conditioning didn’t work. Had to change rooms after unpacking in first room. Staff did not offer to help us move our stuff so we had the schlep it to new room by ourselves.

Nothing to complain about or rave about. It was a fine stay. The a/c was cold.

The pool(s) were amazing! The gigantic pool and the truly hot hot tub, plus the "little" pool was nice too; truly an old school throwback with the outdoor Curve bar, and the big screen TV with ocean footage was spectacular!! The only suggestion I would like to make is to change out those superbright (and on the bluesh side) lights on the conference room building. Softer lighting would fit in with the warm lighting used everywhere else. All of the staff we interacted with were great! The room was cozy and comfortable; however, we didn't like the barn-style door on the bathroom. It was hard to open and close, and it didn't offer enough privacy.
