Very clean room. Had historical charm.

Room was clean and roomy. The staff was nice but we either missed them telling us or they didn’t tell us that you have to request maid service if you would like it. Not a game changer, just something you need to know. Dinner was good there. Also coffee was very good in the lobby area in the mornings!!

Amazing!

For being 200 years old , it was really nice . Mostly historical but has modern immunities, good mix of both. Employees were nice and helpful. Room is huge too.
-
Very Clean historical location in the center of Middlebury with on site fine dining.
-
Not many options in town

Location was very good for us. The building is old, but well maintained. The staff was great. The stairs are very steep and the elevator is in convenient to use. The breakfast was only average, but fairly expensive.
-
Great location with lots of Vermont charm. The food in the tavern was delicious as well. Lots of stairs and a loan elevator that had to be operated by the staff. Our room was super small.
-
Excellent breakfast with lots of choices

I love this place and will always opt to stay here when I’m in the area. If I had to give any feedback it would be to make the toiletries a bit higher end and please provide non-milk alternatives for coffee 🙏

In walking distance of the city The “newer” buildings are showing their age. We never stayed in the beautiful historic building

Thank you!

Clean, conveniently located and very comfortable. The room was very large. The dining room was closed Monday night, the night I was there.

We had a small suite (sitting room and separate bedroom) The king-size bed was very comfortable, but the sheets were a dingy white in color. Bathroom was very tiny, the sink counter space was inadequate, and shower water pressure very weak. The Inn has a historic elevator that is available for use but requires a staff person to operate it. Only one luggage dolly for the entire hotel. Safe, off-street parking. No dinner service on Sunday nights, but the excellent “Fire and Ice” restaurant is near by and open for Sunday dinner from 5pm-9pm. The Middlebury Inn is located in a convenient area of the village.
