The rooms are clean and the staff were so helpful. Our kids LOVE the pool and the other family-friendly amenities. Restaurant and bakery have delicious food! We stay here often and would highly recommend.

It's a great spot and it was a beautiful trip. It's an older property and a bit rough. The service was hit and miss, great and decent I'd say. Food was expensive but handy, was grateful for the onsite options, but dang have things changed!

Our sink had a leak in it. Luckily, they were able to get that fixed while we were out. It took us a few tries requesting more pillows. They have a conversation thread where you can communicate with the hotel on your phone, and any questions or needs that you may have. We had a hard time getting pillows via that, but once we went to the front desk, we got them on our last night. The ice machine was broken. The only amenities that we used was the pool and hot tub, which was nice. The mini golf course looked rundown, but still seemed like guests enjoyed partaking. Overall, it was clean and the staff was friendly, and it was a convenient stay in Midway close to the crater.

The staff were polite, we enjoyed Fat Jacks for dinner and drinks(Shout out to Wives at the bar, me and the foreigners loved them!). The onsite steak house sold out of most popular dishes Friday night, before the big weekend of bike fans arrived.

The staff is amazing! They were extremely short-handed. Apparently, there is new management who was unaware of Swiss Days and how big it is and they did not have nearly the staff they needed for the amount of people. They also were no longer offering a shuttle to Swiss Days, which wasn't advertised online so we didn't know until check-in. The staff that were working gave 110% every day with a smile!! They all deserve a fat raise. On more than one day there was only one person in the kitchen of the lobby cafe and one person to run a full dining room of hotel guests. It's a beautiful property and if they put a little money into it, it could be a beautiful hotel again. It's just showing some age and neglect. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, it just didn't warrant the extra resort fee with so many amenities "out of order". There were several amenities that did not work or did not work well. For instance, it lists indoor and outdoor heated pools but they were not heated, they were cold. There are indoor and outdoor hot tubs but only the outdoor hot tub was actually hot. All of the steam rooms were out of order and the Carousel was never open or running even though it was listed to run at the top of every hour.

The fire alarm went off around 12:30 am. No announcement. We went down to the lobby. One other guest was there. No explanation or apologies for the abrupt awakening.

The staff were great! The resort fee seemed a bit much and was not communicated until after I paid for the already higher than expected hotel cost. The resort itself needs an update.

The property is looking tired and needs a refresh, no ice machine on the floor I was on, the pool was cool, no chair in the double queen room except for the office chair, and the shuttle for Swiss Days has been discontinued, that was a big reason I stayed at the property. I couldn't find a phone number on line to contact the hotel and ask if that was still an option. Overall a good stay and a wonderful location in a beautiful setting.
