Baymont by Wyndham Montgomery AL

Helpfulness of staff

Beautiful courtyard.

The room had a musty smell and the walls are paper thin

This site is quiet, clean and friendly.

The room was clean and bed comfortable. The shower drained slow but it was ok. Breakfast was below average compared to other hotels. No eggs, no meat items.

Everything was good, clean, nice staff, quiet spot

Great breakfast, friendly staff!

Hotel is old and needs updating. My room was clean and decent bed. Works fine for a nights stay for cheap lodging. Staff did fine. It meets the need when you need a cheap place to stay.

Convenient location to interstate and numerous eateries. Clean room including bathroom with comfortable bed. Simple but adequate breakfast. Nice plant filled atrium. Great price. Would not hesitate to stay one night again if passing through Montgomery.

Location, big suites Needs a little updating

Staff is very pleasant mostly. They do offer a decent continental breakfast. Quiet rooms in a great location. My pillow cases were dirty. As the previous guest wore makeup and it went unnoticed during turnover. I brought my own and switched them out during my stay, as it was a economical visit. Front desk team was pleasant to deal with, but does not offer hotel amenity details unless requested or overheard being provided to other guests. Or non the less that was our experience.

Very good

Old refurbished hotel, however some areas like the elevator are in poor condition. Bathroom cleanliness in my room was not great.

The bed was comfortable and it was a spacious room. Well, if you love the smell of marijuana in the morning and night is in parking lot. If you want a good foot wash, get a shower cause the water stands in shower due to it not draining. Buddies room his A/C was leaking on floor. Other person in group their A/C didn’t work at all.

Poor

My husband picked this and I was not expecting much, however I was very pleased. Not a speck of dust! Everything extremely clean! A very large room compared to other places we've stayed. We are retired so the quiet surroundings were appreciated. The staff was very helpful, I wanted more coffee and towels and no problem at all. Air in room worked perfectly. Breakfast was plenty with rolls, juice, waffles, fresh fruit, cereal and toast. If traveling with children, there isn't much for them. Actually I didn't see one child in the 3 days we were there. So, clean and quiet and very pleased with our stay.

For the money, definitely better than 85 percent in this price range. Staff was so nice and proactive. Brought us a fan without us asking and said the room would take about 10 minutes to cool down. Only suggestion is to add protein to breakfast like hard boiled eggs or Greek yogurt.
