Superb hotel for the price, yes it is an old hotel but exceptionally well renovated in style.

- Clean room - Most of the staff helpful and friendly. - Good hours on breakfast - Coffee available - Fitness available 24/7 - Proximity to 99 pub Not so good - Lighting in rooms - very dark; no lighting by the full length mirror. - Hotel layout on the ground floor is strange. - Early closing on 99 pub - Breakfast quality and variety mediocre - Not enough parking

The room I had was so poorly lit my friend and myself had to use flashlights to find items in our suitcase!. You couldn't apply makeup in lighting like this even!!!

Friendly staff , clean room, great breakfast

The clarion was OK, not sure if I’d stay there again. The room was nice. The hotel is definitely old. The breakfast buffet ran out of food and we had to wait 20 minutes for them to cook more, which wasn’t a problem but never had that happen before. The girl who checked us in at arrival was absolutely wonderful, but the rest of the crew seemed be more subdued, friendly but didn’t go out of their way. We asked for a receipt at checkout and the girl told us we had to go through Expedia, which we have never had that happen before. I felt she just didn’t wanna do it.

Walls were very thin, you can hear everything going on while passing by the rooms. I mean everything ! Besides that friendly staff and clean rooms.

The rooms have no windows. No ventilation. Stale smell throughout my room. I checked out at 10:30 am. 1:30pm I start getting notifications of multiple charges for different amounts. $150, $100, and $50. My bank froze my card for suspicious activity and I called the hotel and was transferred to someone that yelled at me the room smelled of smoke and I tried to cover it up with Pumpkin spray. I said I don’t smoke and I didn’t use and pumpkin spray. She yelled I did and I’m being charged and hung up. There are smoke detectors in those rooms and it had to be like 5 or 6 sprinklers. How could I smoke and not set off alarms. My room was located next door to housekeeping and I was there for 2 nights. It’s no way you can smoke in those rooms and not set off alarms. Not to mention I have asthma and don’t smoke. I can’t believe I was yelled at and hung up on by the staff. I travel frequently and never have I been accused or charged with smoking. Horrible experience. Now I have to dispute charges with my bank and get a new card while I’m on the road. Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable.

Very nice, specious renovated rooms and the lobby, however hallways look and smell like in a motel. Overall, great value, but I wish they had upgraded their hallways too.

Great hotel and experience

The room was very nicely updated, beds and bedding were comfortable, the bathroom was very nice and plenty of hot water for morning showers.

Staff was friendly & helpful

No elevator. Long walk to first floor room. Cigarette butts and weeds along walkways and in landscaping. Hallway smelled moldy. Breakfast was terrific! Hot choices were most welcomed. Hotel was convenient to restaurants and shopping.

Room was clean and comfortable stay and the staff did an awesome joh with the breakfast buffet everything was set up for all variations.

Staff very welcoming and friendly. Clean room. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Good value for the price.
