Holiday Inn Express & Suites New Cumberland by IHG

Nice 2 day stay. Rooms clean and breakfast was great. There was no water, ice or vending machine nearby and had to go to the fitness room to get cup of water.

This property is kept beautifully clean, the breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were friendly. The only complaint I have is that the pool was freezing. It's an indoor pool, but it's too cold to swim

convenient location

Our room had a mildew smell. Come to find out the AC was leaking water into the carpet. There was also mold on the ceiling and the walls of the shower. The pool was ice cold, reception said it should be "room temp" but pretty sure it was in the 60's. Breakfast was pretty good though.

The hotel was great. Staff was super friendly. The breakfast was good. Our room was fantastic. The option to do laundry was amazing since we were on an extended trip. I cannot say enough good about this location. I would stay here again on my next travel for the area

Great breakfast in a clean hotel

It's starting ro ahow its age. Be careful they allow pets. Somebody must have had their cat in our hotel room smelled like cat urine.

dining table and chairs was nice. room itself was big, setup was useful. only one elevator, made a weird clicking noise. staff was not inviting and didnt speak english well. front counter area was unique to say the least.

Very enjoyable stay. Rooms were clean and stocked with soap, shampoo, etc. Friendly staff. We will definitely book here again

Exceptional

Our shower curtain was worn & had mold in the bottom corners. The shower head was orange where the water came out. There were black marks on the ceiling in several spots. The walls in the hallway could use a good clean scrub, maybe painted & the carpet needs shampoed or replaced.

Bad

The power went out because of a local storm. This wasn’t the hotels fault, however, the guests had to use the stairs. Which would have been fine if the stairwells had lighting. They did not and it was pitch black. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to see.

Everything was good, that's what I expected.

The bathroom did not appear to have been cleaned/prepped between customers. One toilet paper roll was all but used up with a white sheet covering the cardboard roll and the other had about 1/4 inch left on it. No spares in cupboard. The sink cupboard itself had a 3+ inch raised substance stain (looked a bit gooey, but I didn't touch it) on it that was a bit disturbing! Carpets did not appear to have been vacuumed either in the room or the hotel in general. That said, front dest staff was polite and breakfast was good.
