Location / juice bar next door Room smelt damp, very dark room, shower and carpet didn’t feel clean.
-
Bathroom was mouldy, hair left from previous guest and there was a strange smell in the room. Brought it up to the front desk person and they just said “we will make a note”

Great location. Decor is passe. AC split system broke both days I stayed there so I had the annoying job of overseeing maintenance staff as they fixed it. And they knew the system was wonky and put me in there anyway. I asked cleaning staff to not clean my room but just leave me some toilet paper. They did the opposite. After two days of the AC awfulness, the front desk said they’d have the manager contact me. Crickets. The service was simply bad.

Great location and very nice staff!

Great location. Very trendy and the bar and breakfast area is spacious and welcoming. Too bad the restaurant that used to be connected to the inside of that area is now closed off and owned by someone else.

Great location…

Comfortable bed and pillows. Spacious. Dated interior, mold in bathroom, faulty fire alarm went off at 4:30AM, loud guests

The location was great for walking around and exploring. Felt safe. The pillows suck needed two to sleep on and the night time noise was loud even with the window shut.

Location was easy to get to and conveniently located At nearly $1,000 for two nights, I expected a smooth stay and didn't really get one. A noisy group next door woke me at 3am, and when I asked for a room change, the front desk dismissed me before I had started explaining why. On the second night, a false fire alarm went off at 5am. The intercom was too muffled to understand, no staff were visible, and guests were left in the stairwell unsure how to reach the lobby. There was no acknowledgement or apology at checkout. Some areas felt dated or cheaply finished, and the lobby was crowded with non-guests working on laptops, so it wasn't a pleasant place to eat or drink... in my opinion. A brand activation (?) in the hallway made that there were many random people stood in the lobby/hallway throughout the day. Overall, the service and safety communication did not match the price of an upperscale/boutique hotel.

The bar was fun with a good assortment of food and drinks. Breakfast was mediocre and poor service. Fire alarm went off at 4:30 am for 20 minutes explanation over loud speaker was illegible. Would not recommend this hotel.

Location it's great, very central The hotel clearly needs some DIY, it's not the standard you would expect from a hotel this price range.

The shower head in our room was oddly positioned.

Housekeeping very polite. And one person in the front desk too. The front desk seemed too informal. One morning that a homeless got in the hotel, without being noticed. He got inside the same elevator with my wife. She saw him and left the elevator. Then, he just runned outside. What would have happened if the elevator doors closed?? There was no security personnel around. A very serious problem that needs to be adressed internally. In the lobby there were several people that were not guests...Then, more security should be present.

Front desk staff was very friendly The sole purpose of a hotel is to provide a restful night to their guests. My room had window coverings clearly ripped out of the wall, with the holes still in the wall and additional holes around it. In a city as lit up as NYC is that’s an essential. There was nobody to answer the call at night when I tried to address it. Half of the outlets in my room weren’t working and the inside of the tub was rusty. It resembled a trashy roadside motel rather than Ace hotel in NYC. No warning, no response. On top of that they decided to double charge me for the room. None of which is acceptable.

Good location and very friendly staff. The bed was pretty comfortable but the hotel over all was a little tired and in need of a refresh.
