Hampton Inn Manhattan Grand Central

The location was perfect as it was close to the UN and other meeting venues. The cleaning leaves a lot to be desired. There were brown stains on the carpet. It seems the cleaner responsible for my room didn't notice a spare remote and a piece of a cookie that had been lying under the AC for god knows how long. The sink and toilet bowl haven't been cleaned/scrubbed in a while. (Room 804). We need a dedicated lift for workers to avoid delays for hotel guests waiting for the lifts.

Good breakfast. Convenient location. Friendly staff.

Room was clean, and staff very helpful. The breakfast was ok but eggs and meat were minimally flavorful. It was a way to eat before leaving for the day and it was included in the price.

This is a simple, affordable hotel 2 blocks from the UN and Grand Central, it’s nothing fancy, but ticks all the boxes. The room was quiet at night, decent complimentary breakfast, so nothing to complain, will certainly stay again during the busy season when hotel rates get crazy high.

Balcony rooms are the best in the city

We had a room with a balcony and it was stunning to be able to step out and see the city. It was relaxing to be able to step out first thing in the morning. The staff are super friendly.
