Moxy NYC Lower East Side

Location, friendliness, no fuss I had a problem with my air con that made the first night very uncomfortable. I was promised $100 refund by the hotel that will come through booking.com but I have not yet had the refund.

Poor

I felt safe. It was clean and it was convenient Nice bed and linens, clean and organized. Very nice staff

Hip and modern, clean hotel with a nice rooftop bar. $20 breakfast voucher which came in handy in the morning - there is a little cafe that sells croissants and the like. The gym is decent too. Great views from my room on the 15th floor. The room lacks a table, so it makes it hard to work there. I worked from the bed but that's not ideal. There is also no cupboard and only about 3 hooks, so where do you put your stuff? Probably ok for 1 or 2 nights.

Superb

Loved the area and how clean and new the hotel is. Liked the funky artwork and the lobby area has a great bar, cafe and there’s a restaurant downstairs and nightclub upstairs plus a piano bar on Fridays. $20 voucher off drink or cafe. Bag storage and really friendly check in and check out, plus late check out. Danni on reception was great! I liked everything. Great vegan/veggie across the road too. The Butchers Daughter

Great stay until the last evening where we weee kept awake until gone 3am by ridiculously loud music from the rooftop bar. If they have events there they shouldn’t use rooms in the floors below.

Superb

Very good

Housekeeping was terrible, sheets we re never changed and the bed was not well done…Rooms too small and the Words Of all is that I país more thank 4 gran for a week and when I got to the hotel, I was charged additional 620.00 and at checking out, additional 250.00 … very extremely expensive hotel… not recommended….

This was the perfect location and hotel for our girls weekend!

Location is great. Lots of cool bars and affordable spots to eat in the Lower east side, but it’s easy to walk to the financial district, soho and Greenwich village where the best restaurants are. The hotel is around the corner from the Tenement museum which I would recommend.

Superb

Staff was nice and the room was nice and clean

Our AC didn't work, and it was even hotter the second night. We told the front desk the next morning, and they had someone fix it that day. Then, it was perfectly cold that night. My husband dropped something between his bed and the wall and found multiple condom wrappers. I'm a diabetic, so I needed a mini fridge for my insulin. The front desk delivered it after I checked in. They also gave us a fan on the first night when it was warm. The lobby turned into a bit of a club on Saturday night, but it was calmer and quieter on Sunday.

The rooms are too big. The bathrooms definitely are humongous. They can shrink them significantly. Loved our stay.

From the moment we walked through the door it was a wonderful experience, the location was perfect! Staff all with smiles and genuine.... And the hotel was clean and comfy. The elevators were a little confusing and I'm only writing this because it's prompting to say something.
