Great property but expensive

The Beekman was very convenient for our week of stay in NYC. The amenities were perfect for working remotely. The kitchen was just right. The laundry was a pleasant surprise.

This is a terrible hotel , bugs, no house cleaning, no heat, no easy telephone, cell connection.. the worst

However, the property appears to be showing some signs of age and could benefit from some maintenance and updates. In our unit, we noticed several details that affected our overall experience, including areas where the paint was worn or damaged, a bathtub where the water flow was not ideal and did not drain properly, leaving water accumulated on the floor, as well as some broken lamps. The bathroom glass also had some black stains, and the vanity cabinet was damaged. Overall, while the photos present the property very nicely, we found that the actual condition of the unit was somewhat different from what we expected based on the pictures. With some renovations and attention to these details, the hotel could be a much more enjoyable experience. Perhaps the very reasonable price reflects some of these conditions, but we hope the management considers making some improvements, as the location and friendly staff are definitely positive aspects of the property.

The staff was very helpful with us, because my husband had to be hospitalized for three days, starting on the day we were to check out of the hotel. They helped us stay in the same room for the remaining three days. We really appreciate their help.

It was great a nice full-size kitchen. Location is along major bus routes, and there are some great restaurants close by.

Studio rooms are smaller than the pictures online. Very poorly equipped kitchen which is placed basically as the entry hall. No dining space. We had a long term stay in AKA before. I can't even compare the quality. Very mediocre. Not a good option if you are after a "comfortable" long term stay. Staff are friendly.

It was an amazing experience

El único comentario a tener en cuenta es que queda bastante lejos de las estaciones de subte, aunque hay un ómnibus que atraviesa Manhattan de este a oeste enfrente pero la frecuencia depende del tránsito.

The shower was broken when we checked in, there were issues with the stove and oven periodically not working. Do not expect to do much cooking if you had planned.

I had a beautiful sunny room with a kitchen and a beautiful view.the mattress is comfortable, the property is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The property has a great roof top with a view to not miss, they serve food and drinks. The hotel is walking distance to so so many things, you are in a residential area yet just a few blocks away you can be in more vibrant shopping areas, restaurants etc etc… Now that I know this hotel it will become my home away from home

Had a great stay with the family. Would definitely rent again. The front desk staff was warm and friendly. The rooms were clean, spacious, and great.

Loved everything especially the availability of full kitchen with all cooking supplies. Great views of the city. Convenient location. Grocery store is in the same block. Wish the subway station was a little closer but we enjoyed walking . Amazing rooftop restaurant /lounge Ofelia on the 26th floor. Would stay there again
