Large room with a comfortable bed and convenient street parking. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk to the subway station, with few restaurants nearby.

The hotel is cosy and clean, there is a good hot and cold breakfast selection, a gym and a laundry room which came in very handy. The room, which had a city view, was just right for our needs. The location is perfect, a 12 min walk across the Pulaksi Bridge to Vernon Blvd and Jackson Ave on the 7 train which takes you one stop to Grand Central, then 5th, Times Sq and Hudson Yards. But locally, Greenpoint is also worth exploring for bars, restaurants and shops, we visited many and had a great time. I would definitely stay here again!

It is well decorated with cool funky art and nice large rooms. The restaurant wasn’t really open. There was bar service and pub food Thursday - Saturday but otherwise it was closed except for breakfast. Some of the loft rooms back to an enclosed corridor so the windows are papered over and staff are in that corridor doing some kind of work at 6am.

Took 3 requests to get washcloths!!! Supposed to be smoke free but my floor reeked of pot and despite complaint, nothing was ever done . Internet went out. Advertised as room with a balcony. with city views. In fact, the balcony was tiny and had a view of the lower roof of hotel and Pulaski bridge. Part of shower sprayer didn’t work. So dark in room I had to request an additional lamp in order to do work (lamp was never provided despite repeated requests). Room was large, bed was comfortable. Staff was nice but not always effective.

Very good

Roomier than a Greenpoint railroad apartment and probably cheaper these days. Staff was fantastic, nearby Milk and Roses was a hidden gem for brunch, dinner, coffee. Easy to get to transport.

Loved the room. It was very clean and well maintained. Lack of street parking is a pain but manageable

Breakfast was good. Hotel staff at front desk was extremely kind Was supposed to go to wedding. 12 hours before they cancelled. No option for room extension or extra accommodation Had to call everyday to get room. Had to switch rooms for two nights.

Huge room. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel location is ok... a 10ish min (feels a bit sketchy at night) walk to the 7 train and then just one stop to Grand Central. Shower drain was blocked when we arrived, but front staff arranged maintenance quickly. While exterior walls (to the street) are quite soundproof, you hear everything through the interior walls. Hallway noise is loud. Not sure about night security... But one night, we were awakened at 2am by someone drunkenly knocking on the room doors (Our room was ground level). Don't know if it was a guest or a random person of the street... But it went on for 15 min and was quite unsettling. Breakfast was ok, but the small selection doesn't change at all. Breakfast doesn't open until 8, so there's always a crowd rush for it as soon as it's open. No coffee ready until ~8:45 one morning. One staff member was vaping behind the food service area.

Quiet neighborhood and large room. Cute touches like antique typewriter and camera and original art in each room.

Nothing about the hotel really stood out for me. The location was good, a 10 minute walk to the metro and 5 minutes from there to Manhattan. A 15 minute walk to the waterfront area around the old Long Island Ferry pier which was nice. Down the road is a very good "organic" convenience store that has all you need. Room service kept removing towels each day without replacing them. I started with 3 towels, 2 face clothes and a floor towel and on my last day only had one towel. Breakfast was the same each day, with the exception of a very good fruit platter it was very similar to what you would get at any 3* hotel.

Quirky, interesting decor, welcoming staff, very clean common areas and room. Our room was on the first floor in the back, very near the in-house housekeeping headquarters. This meant a lot of activity, and also unfortunately some unnecessary noise from communications between the staff. That’s as expected except in the evenings it was not ideal. Also, the room was spacious, but having the bathroom on a different floor from the bed was not great during the night when you wake a few times. Simple things that would make the stay a 10: provide better quality TP, a nightstand on both sides of the bed, soap in the kitchen, a toaster with more than 2 slots in the dining room.
