Universal's Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel

On Park grounds

The hotel is wildly convenient, taking "on site" to a different level. You get a special entrance to the park that basically gives you a heads start on the Harry Potter ride you can't otherwise get. The rooms are really nice too. Comfortable beds, clean rooms. And the views!!! We LOVED opening the curtain and watching the park at night or while getting ready in the morning.

We had a great stay! The property was clean and well-maintained, and the location was very convenient for getting into the park. The staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again!

Helios hotel a1

Hotel guest checkin person, name is Adam, was incredibly helpful, a pleasant person to talk and interact with~ late night but he was energetic and helpful~ the hotel is gorgeous and romantic in a fairytale way~ the tablet as a tv remote was awesome, great shower head, water pressure, bed was so comfortable and the linen and towels high quality, food is delicious, plenty of seating everywhere, pool is like a hidden gem, so soothing and calming, so clean and that water fountain is one of the most beautiful things ever, getting to walk right into epic was a dream come true, I have zero complaints! It’s amazing to visit, even if you’re not staying there~ the drinks were even amazing~ just perfect and I can’t wait to stay again really soon!!

Helios Grand is a fantastic Hotel especially when visiting Epic Universe. New clean and luxurious. We stayed as a special treat, not cheap though considering you are in the park most of the time and hardly use facilities when on a short stay . Parking very expensive too. Make sure you check your invoice on checking out !

The reception staff was accommodating and friendly. The rooms are extremely and unacceptably cold. There is a vent in the room which is separate from the AC unit and constantly blows cold air toward the beds, so you constantly feel cold air blowing on you while sleeping. It is technically not possible to turn it off. When you turn up the AC temperate, the vent goes crazier to keep the room at 21 Celcius, which is too cold for sleeping. Plus, it becomes noisy in the room. Everything else in the room was quite comfortable, but this situation messed it all up, and my husband got sick. We stayed at another Loews Hotel in Orlando and didn't have the same issue, so this can't be about humidity or the heat in Florida.

Area for smoking has changed since my last visit one year ago. Now it is behind valet parking, limited seating and no shade. I knew the area for smoking Sept. 2025 was too good to be true. This will impact my decision regarding any future stays.

I think the bed sheets could be of better quality and cleaner. Staff could be more helpful also. Overall is not worth the prize.
