Motel 6 Pooler, GA - Savannah Airport

Room had a moldy smell as soon as you walk in. Killed a few roaches. The room was spacious enough. Couldn't get trash bags or clean towels on the 3rd day of my stay.

Roaches, it was loud and the tub was rusted.

It was comfortable

Never an attendant at the front desk . You have to call the customer service # to have attendant to come. Once they arrive they will not greet you or say sorry for the wait. They check you in & just say you are good. Don't give you information about hotel or what is your room #. Check out is same process. Not able to get any sleep cause looks like regular guest at hotel was having a outdoor party & loud music played all night long. Big dogs with those guest was running & barking around hotel during the night too. I have stayed at other Motel 6 for a quick stop on road while traveling but this one I will never book again. Owners need to visit & make changes or will loose alot of customers.

Clean room

The room was clean, heard no noises all night long, the seat for the toilet was the wrong size. The shower had plenty of hot water. The room smelled like cigarettes but we were ready for the bed after a long day of traveling. The parking lot was full when we arrived.

It is what you pay for. It was okay and safe.

The room smelled like smoke even though it was a non smoking room. People running all over the place behind the check out desk and such around midnight. Not caring about the noise. TV did not work.

Exceptional

Rooms were horribly nasty. The extractor vent in the bathroom was so dirty, it couldn't function properly. The sheets were stained, shower was greasy feel and the room smelled like weed.

Honestly, one of the guests who are flying out that same day told me not to trust the bank with anything not even a debit card. So I enjoy how she took the lead and essentially corrected the misinterpretation of our bank.

My husband and I love staying at motel 6, especially with our two dogs. Because of the price of the room, I already assumed that I would not be in the best neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the neighborhood was actually pretty decent with an awesome authentic pizza place right down the street. However, The vibe at the motel was a little off. There were a lot of people just hanging out walking around outside watching everything we did. When I volunteered later that night to take our dogs out to the bathroom my husband said absolutely not and would not let me go out by myself. It's the kind of place that will make you double check that your car doors are locked. I would definitely never stay there by myself, but with my husband I felt okay. The room was surprisingly clean and very nice looking, possibly newly remodeled.

I liked the location was nearby everything we needed to be close to. There were German cockroaches in both of the bedrooms. The toilet in one of the rooms was leaking while we were out of the room for a few hours and when we came back there was water all the way out to the second bed. They did come fix the toilet and clean up the water very quickly though
