McMenamins Kennedy School

This was our first stay at the Kennedy School. We really enjoyed it. The soaking pool was great and they gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate my wife’s birthday. There were also movies we could have seen but we were not interested in the ones playing. You could spend an entire day just hanging out and eating at the property. It is also dog friendly so next time we will be bringing our pup.

Unique and lovely rooms and whole environment. Great location for our visit. Totally pet friendly. Wonderful visit.

A unique experience! I was even able to watch a current movie! Food and cider were good.

Had a wonderful stay. A truly unique hotel experience. We loved the restaurant options, the soaking pool, and the delightfully appointed rooms.

The old school this hotel was transformed from is beautiful. They did an amazing job . Big room and bathroom. Comfy bed. Quiet . Yummy breakfast at the restaurant. V Nothing

The Kennsdy school is fantastic! Themed as a school, since it was a school, is so fun. Bars called "Detention" and "The Boiler Room" are decorated to the 9's with great service and tons to offer. Our room was clean, quiet, and in the "English Wing"....our room was '100 Years of Longing"...fantastic. A must stay in Portland!

Great hotel with a theater. Soaking pool was like a giant hot tub. Room we were in lacked AC control. Box fan was helpful.

Amazing place. Front desk staff were mostly rude. One worker in particular left you feeling degraded after the few interactions we had with them.

Eclectic hotel property that’s a one stop shop for all your needs— great restaurant, multiple bars, soaking pool, gift shop, etc. Lovely and helpful staff. Rooms are small and Spartan but totally fine for our purposes. Would stay again.
